Great after-market replacement
This item arrived very quickly and was well packaged. It was also quite easy to install. The fit was perfect and it was a good value. Seems to be well built and sturdy as well It has been in place on the ATV for several months of use now without any problems and seems to function flawlessly.

It does work great… for about a month
This worked great until yesterday. As soon as the warranty expired. It was an exact fit and direct replacement and all of the switches and everything worked. Yesterday I tried to start the quad (1999 Polaris scrambler 500 4x4) and the start engagement ?button?lever?switch would not engage the starter. On this configuration you push up on the run/stop button while in run position to start the quad. When I pushed up on it yesterday it felt loose and like something wasn’t working as it should. It didn’t start on the first touch like it had literally EVERY I the time. It didn’t engage the starter at all for about 30sec of trying it repeatedly. Then it tried to engage one time as I was releasing the switch. Finally after fiddling with it for a few minutes after that i was able to get it to start. I’m glad I was able to get it started but cannot trust that it won’t leave me stranded until I get a new part i just bought a new one of less than 6 months ago. Hopefully the next one holds up better.
