As an avid laser engraver, I needed something to keep my product in place, I use a sheet of galvanized steel to place my pieces on, but I need them to stay where they are so I use the small magnets to surround the piece and start the process, I think because they are such strong little magnets I can actually do more than just one piece at a time, leaving the magnets where they are I can just put the next piece down in place as it would be if it were a jig and running anywhere from 2 to 4 pieces at a time. They are extremely strong little magnets, I don’t think the screws would be useful in my case, but the magnets themselves are absolutely fantastic. I find them to be extremely useful and would recommend them to anyone.

Works great. Hung a curtains on the doors using these magnets. Never came off until we took the off.

I bought these to install some sheet metal I'm using as a magnetic surface and wet erase board. There were already screws in the wall so I just used what was there and attached these magnets. They are doing a fantastic job, honestly. I might be buying more though because the sheet metal I got is less stable than I thought it would be, and any time it wobbles it slips every so slightly, but that's not the fault of the magnets. Definitely get a nice rigid (or mostly rigid) piece of sheet metal if you want something like this, nothing really thin like mine turned out to be.

So many uses; so many that this is my second order. uses: holding my house numbers on my metal door, holding winter “blanket” on inside of window air conditioner, holding decorations on side of refrigerator.

In combination with a mild steel bumper, one of these strong 3/4 inch magnets makes a dandy door closure on a pocket door. Using a 3/4 inch Forstner bit I drilled a small detent on the edge of the door to receive the magnet. The hole in the magnet was convenient to easily attach it to the door edge. When the bathroom sliding door is almost closed the magnet pulls the door secure but still allows opening with only a little force. This solved a problem of guaranteeing privacy with ease. A great little product that I plan to use in other door-closure applications.

Just not powerful enough to make a kitchen knife holder.
