It works as intended, took awhile to wrap the pole tho. It’s durable and good quality. My cats took a couple weeks to get used to it I think it smelled funny to them but after getting used to it their scratching like normal

I have plenty leftover! I thought it would’ve been a little bit of a thicker rope, but it’s still worked out for me. I used it on my cat tree to redo one of the posts and though my handiwork wasn’t that great the rope was awesome.

This sisal rope works incredibly well for repairing cat scratching posts! My cat's old ones were torn to shreds and now they look practically brand new. To repair, I used a hot glue gun to attach the rope to the pole at various points. Make sure to wrap the rope tightly and to start from the bottom of the post. There is a slight odor from the rope, but it wasn't incredibly bothersome to me and it faded rather quickly. My cats also didn't seem to mind and they started scratching at their 'new' posts almost immediately.

Easy to install with a staple gun on handmade cat tree. Holding up well!

We bought a Christmas tree themed cat tower and wanted to change the top sisal from white to green to help it look more tree like. It worked great and thankfully didn't have any weird smells. It had the faintest odor so I probably wouldn't use with my pet rats, and when I say this please keep in mind I'm super scent sensitive. I get bothered by smells that my wife and son can't smell, the only other person I have found that can is also a super scent sensitive person.

Used my gorilla glue gun to attach the rope to the pole on the cat tree and it worked beautifully !!! USE GLOVES as the rope can be a bit rough after a bit of pulling and stretching it !! Will buy again if need be to repair cat climbing tree again.

This rope is very good quality for the price. It’s noticeably softer than the sisal rope I’ve bought from hardware stores, which makes me think there may be a small amount of cotton blended into the fiber. I especially like the cream color—it looks modern and works perfectly with my non-toxic white oak–stained cat wall setup. The rope was easy to work with and the thickness is ideal for scratching posts. The size was perfect. One coil was enough to fully wrap four 15” scratching posts with decorative knots. If I hadn’t added the knots, it likely would have covered most of a fifth post as well.

I purchased this Natural Sisal Rope to replace the green Sisal Rope that came on the cat scratching post I bought. It didn't take my cat long to destroy the green Sisal Rope and it was much cheaper to buy this rope and redo it myself than to buy another scratching post. It was an easy job and I like the natural color more so than the dyed green Sisal Rope that came on the scratching post. I had some left over and I saved it for the next replacement down the road.

Product was good. I got 3 post done before running out. I have a second roll on its way. I had my manager watch over me while I repaired his scratcher to make sure it was satisfictory. Right after I was done, he instantly jumped on it started scratching! I'd say it's a win. Tip for the first time repairers (such as myself). Start at the bottom of the post and go upward so you get a tighter winding of the twine. I learned that when doing the bottom post (the last one) and it went a lot better using gravity to keep them sitting nicely. It also made it so I only had to glue once every 6 wraps instead of each one like I did above it.. hope this helps someone!
