We haven't had any issues and the thing just works. Nice not to have to worry about having your keys, unless both thumbs get cut off. I managed to get probably 16 months out of a set of high-quality batteries. I have been able to let someone in the house from the other side of the country, so if you're set up right then you're golden.

Some smart locks look good when new and are sometimes too big. This smart lock has the essentials and was built solid, you wont get tired of its general design. This brand gives you the flexibility of upgrading to more features later. It is ineexpensive relative to other smart locks but if you consider your 'use case' - this lock may be just what you need.

Simple to install, easy instructions, fingerprint reader works very well! Knocked off one star only because it takes normal keys. Which can be a positive for a lot of people! But those are also pickable if you have a skilled criminal. Very small criticism, very solid lock.

You cannot use this lock on French doors. I tried installing it myself but was having some issues. I called a locksmith to assist, but I was told that it does not work for these kind of doors without drilling additional holes into my door. I do not want or need two deadbolts/doorknobs. I cannot return it, so now I have a $160 hunk of trash.

Very discreet. Does not stand out or protrude like other keyboard locks. Merge well with traditional dead bold locks. Super convenient fingerprint reader as an optional entry method. iPhone unlock is also super useful. Installation is simple and direct replacement of an old deadbolt. Highly recommend.

Lock works fine except for fingerprint reader. Fingerprint reader would acknowledge a new fingerprint twice and that was that. Wouldn't recognize it a third time. Must have attempted to enter new fingerprints at least a dozen times, and even had service department on phone to help, but once again would only recognize fingerprint two or three times at most. Very frustrating standing at your door attempting to get the door unlocked using your finger over and over and over again just tp get a red light. Key and the app. on phone do work perfectly. If you want to use a finger to unlock your door FORGET THIS LOCK!.
