Right, genuine book. Timely delivered. Actually I bought after renewing from local library 3 times. It is an asset.

The book is well-written and well-organized for learning Git from end to end. I found the book significantly less useful as a reference.

The book is missing the first pages. It is hard to use when you are missing the table of contents.

Really a good book, going into the internals of Git. Some previous exposure would help a quite. Nevertheless it goes into all necessary details of Git. By the time you complete the book, you certainly would come out with total confidence & total ease using &teaching Git

Overall a very useful book. I am subtracting one star for the use of confusing and overcomplicated language. I mean one simple example follows: "You can switch branches locally. Git then restores the state of the project to the most recent moment when the snapshot of the specified branch was created."
