Absolutely Outstanding — A Must-Have for Gallery Glass Projects
Gallery Glass Crystal Clear Stained Glass Paint is, quite simply, the gold standard for DIY glass art. Clear is hands-down the color you will use the most if your goal is maximum visibility, natural light, and brilliance, and I truly appreciate that Gallery Glass offers this product in an extra-large 8-oz bottle. In my project (shown in the photos), I used two full bottles, and having the larger size available made a significant difference in both consistency and value. Gallery Glass continues to prove why it is the undisputed leader in DIY stained glass crafts. The finish is smooth, luminous, and professional-looking once cured. It allows daylight to pour through beautifully while still delivering the desired effect. One of my favorite aspects is that it is permanent until you choose to remove it, making it ideal for what I call temporary art installations. Yes, it is perfect for renters or anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing quality. Also if you're a perfectionist, you can peel it off and start over. This particular installation is in my kitchen. I created a stained glass trim along the top of the window for visual interest while fully coating the bottom portion for privacy. I live in a condo with a catwalk, and an elementry school aged child regularly walks past my unit on the way to her home. I coated the lower window completely to provide a discreet, respectful, and practical solution to prevent awkward or unintended visibility during private moments, all without blocking light or making the space feel closed off. Yes, it is DIY, and NOT PERFECT - but I feel the result is elegant, functional, and genuinely beautiful. If you are working with windows, doors, sidelights, or any #GLASS surface where light matters, this product is indispensable. Clear Gallery Glass is not optional; it is essential. I cannot recommend it highly enough. (NOTE: This is ONLY temporary on GLASS. If you apply this to acrylic, it essentially becomes impossible to remove.)

This stuff works!
This product is incredible. We built a new house with a clear class front door, wish we had ordered textured glass after realizing we had little to no privacy in the evening. A friend used this on her door and highly recommended it. I was hesitant at first because our door was expensive and I didn’t want to ruin or damage it. Well, we tried it are thrilled with the result! Very easy to apply (looks like Elmer’s glue), and dries fairly quickly. The good thing is if you make a mistake or change your mind later, it can peel right off. This product even enhanced our door…we get so many complements! It’s nice to sit in our great room now without being exposed to passers by. I highly recommend Gallery Glass.

Great product! So glad I did it!
Used this with other colors to help give me some privacy on my front door. It was super easy to use and o think it looks great. I did mess up on one part but after it dried it peeled off super easy.

Works perfectly
This is great for the clear stained glass effect and works well. Better results were had by making circles with the paint as to not fill every blank between lead lines and then using a fanned paint brush to fill in by making tapping motion. I don't worry about the overlap of the lead lines or other glass paint colors since it's clear. Dry time is quick doing it the way I do and it has great adhesion ability. It is pretty durable allowing me to use on an entire piece of glass prior to lead lines and color for a true stained glass effect of some pieces I make. My only complaint was that it did not have a cap on the applicator tip so I must use frog tape to seal it and prevent drying out. Hence, it loses a star.

Tap on with fingers for best look
Works great and is clear if you follow instructions (like i did the second time). First time I brushed/tapped with brush and it was blotchy white. 2nd time I squirted it on then tapped with my fingers. DO NOT GO BACK AND TAP AGAIN. I went back about 30 mins later to hit a few spots and its obvious. Tap with fingers once squirted on then walk away. Also, if used in bathroom it will become white from condensation after showering --then dries clear after a few hours.
