Purchased these tips to replace the broken plastic tips that came with our folding chairs. The replacement tips are easy to put on and fit snugly on my chairs. Previously, I had ordered the black replacement tips, but unfortunately, they left black marks on my kitchen tiled floor. These white ones do not leave any marks at all. Given they are made of rubber my chairs don't slide like the hard plastic tips and offer better floor protection. Happy with the product.

Fit perfect!

I travel far by bicycle (long story), which means camping two nights of three. When setting up camp, I suspend a tarp to protect the bike, with one end over my tent door, and the other supported by a 6-foot, three-section pole of thin-wall aluminum. The assembly forms a nice porch, which shields me and the bike from rain and sunlight. The pole diameter is 9/16 of an inch, so I bought a pack of 1/2-inch chair-leg tips, reasoning that I’d get a secure press fit, and I did. When assembled, the tip on the ground end keeps dirt out of the pole, and the tip on the upper end protects the tarp from the pole’s sharp edge. I’ve used this setup countless times now, and it works well. Because the tips came in a pack of four, I’ve two spares in case I manage to wear the others out, not that there appears any risk of that, despite the hundred of times I’ve used the pole since installing the first two. As the accompanying photo shows, the business end of the tip is rounded with a concentric ring, both of which aspects help in my peculiar application. I realize these tips were design to protect chair legs and floors, but they solved my minor camping problem too.

These leg tip protectors fit snugly and are long lasting. They protect and prevent slipping when in use. The black color is kind of a universal color when using on a functioning appliance.

These rubber chair leg protectors are essential on most boat chairs or the metal leg chairs whose chair leg’s are a cut off finish tube. These types of unprotected legs will slide and scratch the boat deck. They are not just for marine deck chairs but any chair with a metal angled or straight leg. They also prevent the chairs from moving. The white rubber leaves no marks and fit out 1” chair legs perfectly. They are secure. Amazon’s price was cheaper than the big box store !!

Does not slide smoothly

Honestamente me pregunto... quien las fabrica, ¿las probó alguna vez? Lo dudo. No duraron nada. Compré 4 paquetes de 4 piezas. Las coloqué en unas sillas con patas de fierro para que no rechinaran al moverlas por el piso. En dos días de uso ya estaban deformadas y en menos de una semana ya estaban rotas. Fue muy decepcionante. Quizás en una mesa que no deba moverse duren más, pero en sillas que constantemente son desplazadas y que tienen que soportar el peso de personas, no aguantan. No aguantaron ni el peso de niños pequeños. Son demasiado flexibles, se deforman al arrastrar las sillas y luego-luego se rompen. Tendré que buscar otras de material más rígido y resistente.

Had never thought I could change them from my old ironing board. These fit perfectly.

Used on folding chair; my chairs don't have end caps on the feet so I had to put 1 in washers inside to prevent the tubes (feet) cutting through, (couldn't find end caps to fit and the old goat is a little on the heavy side).
