ZeelPeel Orange Peeler

I love a good kitchen gadget! This helps peel those stubborn oranges and my young boys love using this!

Excellent orange peeler. If you find the small peelers hard to use and want something larger and sturdier, this may work very well for you. I find it easy to hold and use. It has a good, solid feel to it and works very well on larger fruit.

This works well for most oranges. It is easy to slip and cut your finger with the sharp barb in the front for cutting through the orange rind. I also had to use a fair amount of pressure to push the rind skin through the loop for peeling.

I love this peeler! I have arthritis in my hands and this little peeler has made peeling oranges so easy for me. It has a sharp point so I can score the rind and expose a portion of the flesh. Once that is complete, I am able to use another section of the tool to easily peel away the rind piece by piece. It is a really great tool. It is made of plastic, so I am comfortable letting my young child use it as well. My only regret is not finding it sooner.

The first time or two, it did cut into an orange peel. Then it becomes a hazard. It will not cut by the peeling device as it dulls out and then becomes a very dangerous tool to jab your fingers and cut them up. This has now been sent to the landfill, where it belongs.

This orange peeler is easy to use; however, because of its size, it is not easy to maneuver around the rounded contours of an orange. I used it once, and resorted to cutting with a knife and peeling it with the peeler instead of my fingernails.

Another surprising device that does what it purports to. It takes a bit of practice to get the peel removal right (or maybe just smaller oranges would help) but this does the scoring of the peel easily without fear of slicing your fingers and it removes the peel without ripping into the orange. It will easily get the removal of the peel started even if the orange is larger than normal. I used mine on Cara Cara oranges which are a bit larger than normal oranges so it made the peel removal a bit tougher as it got down to the "larger than the hole provided" part of the orange, but until that point, it worked perfectly. Not really the fault of the peeler but the size of the orange. I didn't know these existed till the day I ordered this and it really can save a mess with orange-type peeling. I've misplaced 2 but it's worth it to have 1 on hand. I put a hanging strap on this one - I love this tool. It really works.

Best citrus fruit peeler on the market. I have owned a number of different peelers in my lifetime, and I have never had one as good as this. It is very easy to use, does not destroy fruit, and makes peeling a breeze. I always keep at least one in reserve in case the company ever quits making them.

It may only be plastic but it works like a charm. I had a stainless steel one, and it was useless.
