Amazing Portable Audio Interface
This audio interface is simply amazing. The preamps are clear, powerful and allows a lot of gain with little to no noise. It's really nice to be able to have this in my backpack as part of a mobile recording setup. I've used it with garage band on iPhone for quick recordings and as a main desktop interface connected to studio monitors. The onboard DSP is a really nice touch especially for small live performances (Guitar and Vocals) to add compression and EQ to better improve live sound. Ive even used this interface for small karaoke gathering to power and mix microphones. The build quality on this interface is amazing, well built, and durable. Input and output placements are nice and doesn't make my desk feel cluttered and unorganized. The screen could be a little bigger, but it gets the job done well. Controlling this interface without the app isn't difficult as well. Just read or watch some tutorials and its pretty easy changing setting, gain, output volumes. The only thing i wish this interface was able to do standalone is change effects and lower levels (without affecting gain). The desktop app is nice, I just wished it didn't constantly ask me to sign in. It would also be nice to jump directly to the Mixer instead of opening a launcher to open the mixer. Compared to other iterations of the Mixing program, this one is pretty straight forward and easy to visualize/configure. Overall its a great interface for beginners to advanced users that can definitely improve your recordings and enjoyment while making music

Best sound at this price point, solid customer service, great included FX. Overall great product
This is my second Antelope interface. My first one (Zen Tour SC) is integral at my studio. I added this one for home. The converters are fabulous, which makes the sound quality superior to other similar interfaces. I love the AFX and AFX2DAW plugin for sound design. The software is great for routing. The software with this unit is a little more simplified, which is fine for most users I think. I was able to route things the way I like with a little experimentation, and now this Zen Go is integral at my home studio. I haven't needed customer service for this unit yet, but Antelope was quick to respond when I had an issue with the Zen Tour SC after upgrading my OS. They fixed the problem for me right away. Solid products. Thanks Antelope!

It just works, unlike my Apollo Twin.
My Apollo Twin USB just died after only 8 buggy years of owning it. So for those who are looking for a comparison, there is none. Universal Audio products, from my experience, are not long-term investments. The Apollo would constantly disconnect from my computer, crashing my sessions. I'd have to restart my system to get it to come back online. Lost days of my life doing this, over and over again. I decided to buy this version of the Antelope Zen Go to take advantage of my PC motherboard's rather unique Thunderbolt connector. Installation was easy. Where I ran into a problem was getting my PC and interface to talk to each other via my Thunderbolt cable. To do this, I downloaded a free app, mentioned deep in the Antelope Site, called Voice Meeter. From there I was able to assign the Zen Go to my monitor speakers. After that everything worked. No pops. No clicks. No noise. No disconnects. No crashes. The thing just works. Now I have a powerful, clean connection from PC to Speakers. It's all I need really. I haven't road tested the preamps yet. I'm told they are excellent, but I'll probably switch them off in favor of my external Earthworks 521 ZDT when it comes time to recording. I also downgraded from 2 stereo 1/4" outputs to one stereo 1/4" output. This was deliberate as I only need my monitors and headphones to mix, knowing how to run a mono signal through them, and am retiring my Behritone mono cube. I will also miss the direct Hi Z guitar interface my Apollo had. Buying a Zen Q would account for both of these shortcomings, but you can definitely play guitar through the Zen Go by messing with the controls and using the rear line in. Plus there is a wealth of guitar amp emulators Antelope offers for free when you register the device. I am very happy with my purchase and am never looking back.

Decent hardware, horrible software.
This thing is garbage, end of story. There's always a nonsensical new issue every month. On Mac, I've had random dropouts for a year now that can only be fixed with a power cycle, with every software and firmware update. Recently it's started gating audio despite none of the onboard DSP being active, had to hard reset my device twice to fix that. It will drop out if the software panics for any reason. For a couple months it simply would refuse to work from certain USB ports until the whole computer was rebooted. That's just on Mac. On PC, expect your eardrums to be obliterated every time two pieces of software attempt to assign conflicting sample rate data, and this does something to the onboard software that makes it permanently screeching until you do a hard reset (the instructions for which are hidden in a manual long lost on Antelope's website). On the plus side, when it works it sounds fine. Quite good, actually. This is such garbage for the price. The person who recommended it to me is no longer my friend. Buyer beware.

Excellent, high quality tool!
Would recommend this to anyone who comes equipped with some routing and patching knowledge as the device is not simply plug and play but more of an extension of your studio. Once setup and all connected its workflow is excellent and the sound quality is amazing. I had to reach out to customer support to get setup in the beginning and they were very professional and responsive. They resolved my inquiry within days.

For this price...
For the amount spent on this interface, I would expect a a few cables to be included. I would expect a instruction booklet how to physically set it up. I realize there is information on their website, but I'm still running into trouble and I suspect it's due to the cords I have/ or don't have. I'm not the most tech savvy person so I was hoping that if I spent a little more on quality equipment, then it would be easier for me to get started. Turns out you get less for more money with this brand. I will most likely return this and buy a cheaper interface that includes the needed cords and instructions.

As a professional Voice Actor... Antelope Audio Zen Go Synergy Core is a GO!!!!!
This is a no brainier... as just the sonic audio bliss that the Antelope Audio Zen Go converters deliver is top of its game! Yes... it can replace expensive hardware... The hardware I own... like the Avalon 737 tube amp, Universal Audio Teletronix La-2A, Empirical Labs Distressor EL8X, Neve 1073 clone... at the cost of over $10,000. For me the Antelope Audio Zen Go delivers. All i do is Voice Over... so for me mic preamps, compressors, and a bit of eq is all need... Works perfect on my windows 10... I replaced my Steinberg UR-RT2 Interface with this... I use my Manley Reference Cardioid Mic and my Sennheiser MKH 416 Mic with the ZenGo... and the beauty of the ZenGo is that all the plugins are in real time!!! just as if you had the actual hardware! Bravo!!! Antelope Audio... Bravo!!! DonCapone.com

Bang for the Buck - Zen Go
The Antelope Zen Go is probably the best bang for the buck sonically with unmatched AD/DA conversion in the price point. All the quality you would expect from an Antelope HW product without the steep price tag. It is also with mentioning the almost non-existent latency and the front end processing that works like outboard gear. There is also an option to use plug-ins in real time as well. If you are looking for an Audio Interface for around $500 with the quality of an interface that typically costs upwards of $1000, this is worth looking into. The reviews online are all positive too if you like to research like me.
