Zee Zees Cocoa Cherry Soft Baked Snack Bars, 2.2 oz, 24 pack, Nut Free, Whole Grain, Safe for School, On-The-Go, Kosher, Allergy Friendly

The blueberry lemon bars are delicious, the puffed rice or oats, not sure which, inside add such a nice light crunch, the flavor is subtle and balanced, plus they're pretty dense and filling for a quick snack. Despite what I've seen in some other reviews for these, they are fairly healthy as far as a sweet snack goes, I implore anyone to find a well know candy bar that's at least 2.2oz, has at least 3g of fiber, and less than 14g of sugar, 75mg of sodium, 8g of fat, without artificial sweeteners or colors... It's gonna be a long search. By comparison a 2 pack of Reese's cups, just the normal one, not the king size, has 22g of sugar, 12g of fat, twice as much sodium, 2g of fiber (which is still impressive for candy) and weighs just 1.5oz. Plus it has TBHQ which is a little troubling. A normal 1.86oz Snickers has 28g of sugar, 12g of fat, only 1g of fiber, almost twice as much sodium, and artificial flavor. The calories are pretty similar between all three, but one's packed with whole grain oats and brown rice, not hard to guess which one. Sure these aren't the absolute healthiest thing you can put in your body, nothing beats vegetables, but they aren't nearly as bad as regular candy bars, that doesn't mean eat a whole box at once, two of these would still essentially equal a normal candy bar, though they are way more filling. Literally the only drawback for me is price, but you get what you're paying for and if money isn't a big deal, these are a perfect alternative to traditional candy when you're craving something sweet.

My daughter had this brand of snack bars at school and asked me to order them because she really liked them. I found the flavor she had which was strawberry and thought I’d order some other flavors after sampling them because I liked them too. I ordered a variety pack, which included the birthday cake. All the other flavors lasted longer than the birthday because I would take them for work or have one for lunch. I ended up ordering only birthday cake flavor because they became something I looked forward to eating every day. Once I ran out and tried to order more-they were out of stock. Slowly I accepted this-and now months later writing this review-I’m again reminded of how good they were. They remind me of the consistency of natures called soft baked bars, only more thick and great flavor. Not super sweet-but just enough to satisfy any sweet cravings. I’d definitely order these again when they come back in stock-as long as the price isn’t through the roof.

Looking for some healthier snacks & meal replacements, and I came across this product, so decided to give them a shot!!! Most often have them as a breakfast replacement during my first morning break at work & to start with, the flavors are awesome!!! Blueberry/Lemon & the Cherry/Cocoa ones are the bomb!!! Now, I'm not a small guy (5'11" 200ish lbs) one of these bars is quite often actually too filling for me to finish in a go!!! They definitely satisfy all the "ticks" and are fairly healthy to boot!!! Have recommended them to several friends at work & they've become the new rage with my company...think I may be owed a commission by now!!

The product is fresh and tastes good, and the bars are a substantial size and are filling. I feel they are a little overpriced but some of the proceeds go to charity so I’m okay with that. I was disappointed with this particular order, as one of the flavors listed in the product description was not included, and that was the one I had really wanted.

My kids love them. It's a great after school snack together with fruit and juicy juice or milk. Cinnamon is the current favorite although we just recently also tried the Strawberry flavor. Each bar is individually wrapped so they're easy to pack in lunches, throw in a backpack or keep in your purse for a quick snack. It's a good choice.

My kid came home from school talking about a brownie he bought. So I asked for the wrapper. It was this! It’s a bit fudgy like a brownie and has a nice chocolate flavor. This is definitely a dessert with the amount of sugar but, it’s made with whole grain and has better overall nutrition than many other desserts for school lunches. I love that it’s school friendly (nut free) and my kids love it. Honestly, I like them! You can’t really taste the cherry part but I think that keeps it moist.

Someone brought these into work and I was able to try one. Loved the lemon blueberry combination, and found there was nowhere local to purchase. Looked on Amazon, ordered, and received them in days. Will definitely order these again.

Update: 6/17/22: Zeezee has once again changed these bars, and this time it's entirely unacceptable. The new bars are dry and crumbly and don't have enough frosting on them. They're also shaped differently and much thicker. The ones at issue have a best by date of 2/10/23. I bought two boxes because my kids got over the change to new and improved, and these are a perfect snack thay the four of them like(d). I truly hope this batch was a fluke. I'm so very disappointed. Again. ----- What. In. The. Heck. My kids have gotten the cherry cocoa bars in their school lunches and raved about them. They gave me a few and I agreed. The bars were fudgy and delicious. They begged me to buy them some. So I did. Our box showed up today and they immediately tore in... Just as quickly, they rejected the bars. They pointed out the "new and improved" on the package. They do not taste like the deliciously fudgy bars they have at school. The frosting is different. The texture is different. The flavor is different. I am not impressed.
