NOT 9V negative center as claimed
NOT 9V negative center as described. The listing says -9V center, the label on the bag says -9V center... But my METER says it is +9V center and none of my pedals will function with this thing. Either it will work or it won't, depending on your device's power jack size and polarity (center positive!). For me it works, so 5 stars. Great alternative to a bulky wall wart.

Does what it says
I use it for a portable fan that has a 9v plug but also use to take 6 D batteries Way better to use a power bank then 6 D batteries and this lets me use a power bank that I use for my phone

Used for 9v Power supply for Guitar Pedals
If you plan on using this for external supply for guitar pedals the polarity needs to be reversed. Simple Job just remove the outer shell and desolder the wires the switch the output. Put Red(+) on the Negative(-) side of the board and Black(-) on the Positive(+) side of the board. This will make the polarity correct for guitar pedal power. Put everything back together. Works like a champ.

Oh No....
Plugged it in to my usb power main and a small 3-watt speaker and it did not work. What it DID do after 2 minutes was start to melt on the usb end (the plastic that holds it). Fortunately, I pulled it out in time before it caused any real damage.
