So long as you’re okay with somewhat chunky mince (nowhere near as fine as you might expect in, say, chilli), this is a satisfying, delicious meat substitute. Oh, and don’t expect it to taste like meat - Quorn products generally don’t. They’re delicious nonetheless and reasonably priced.

This needs a lot of seasoning to even begin to resemble meat. I tried it in several ways but the best was as a curry. Even then there was an odd bitterness. The most acceptable way I found was to mix it with ground beef in curry - not a total substitute but a compromise.
