Outstanding CD-R Media Made With The Taiyo Yuden Process
For when you require CD-R media that works EVERY time this is your only choice. We have used Taiyo Yuden media for many years with great success. These CMC Pro CDs live up to the long-established reputation of Taiyo Yuden/JVC for low failure rate, high playback compatibility, and outstanding print surfaces.

Good Value CDs.
Recorded on twenty of these Taiyo Yden/JVC CDs. Had to discard two that had smudges and were rejected by my software/hardware. I am otherwise happy with with the quality of recorded content.

The best quality CD-R discs for the price
I love this brand of discs. I discovered them after searching for better quality discs for making home-made mix CDs and so many pages on the internet specifically recommended this brand. I've bought several cases of these discs over the past year and have not had even one "coaster" in any package. I really like the smooth white surface that lets you write on them easily with pen or marker (I have not tried printing any graphics on them) and the discs are playable multiple times without any notice of degradation over time (unlike other brands). The only drawback I can think of about these is that they don't sell them in stores so that I have to buy them online. Also the plastic spindle case that they come in is crappy quality and the lid won't stay secured so don't pick up the case by just gripping the lid. I saved some spindle cases from others brands of CDs and simple refill the empty cases with these discs whenever I buy more.

Did not work in my computer
Never before did I have trouble with T.Y. blank discs. But this was a bad batch. They worked in my other devices, but not in my computer. Other discs still worked in my computer, so I know they are bad discs.

works great, packaging issues
So far I have used about 40 of the 300 disks I bought to convert my LPs to CDs. No issues. I choose this CD brand because of the high recommendations, and I chose the inkjet version to avoid writing directly on the CDs. I only gave it a 4star rating because I think the packaging is a risk. The CDs are loose on the spindle so that there is about 3/4-inch of play which could let damage occur. A spongy insert would prevent the CDs from rattling up and down on the spindle during shipping. No damage did occur, so perhaps this is not necessary.

Great media.
Never have any failures I swear. Feel super fortunate. Been using this media since it's inception I believe, smooth sailing.

Good Product, Not So Good Shipping
When I took this 100-CD container out of the shipping box, I found that two of the four base tabs securing the cover were broken off. I also noted that the shipping box was a bit too small for the product, which may have resulted in the broken base tabs. Worse yet, the spindle running up through the CD blanks was broken off at the base, meaning the CDs were not secured when the cover was removed. Finally, two felt securing washers were merely laying on top of the topmost CD, rather than on the spindle where I would expect them. Fortunately I had a base and cover from a previous purchase, and I transferred the CDs to that. The CDs themselves seem undamaged, and I burned one with success. So a potential disaster of CDs flying out all over the floor was avoided. Note: this review asks to rate "print quality", but this is a package of 100 CD-blanks, not a printer. I gave this 5 stars because the product itself is fine.

Excellent quality discs as expected from Taiyo Yuden. Better than modern Verbatim.

The product was good, however my first option was the silver CD which is not available with you. Any idea when this product will be available? The service was good, and the most important thing CD's are made IN JAPAN AND NOT IN CHINA.
