Replacement USB-C daughter board just as good as original
I have been working on repairing my 2018 MacBook Pro, replacing damaged parts of the logic board, and needed a new set of USB ports for the left side (loose connection and no longer charged correctly). This product was a great replacement, just like the original part. Easy enough to swap out on the daughter board once popped off the original from the laptop’s logic board, and no issues using it once installed. USB speeds, charging, and video output work just as before. Overall, this product does the job.

One of the parts is only half functional
I ordered 2 (left & right side of 2019 MacBook Pro) Installed as expected (there are a lot of cables to remove/replace on logic board) The left-side ports work; on the right side *one* of the ports works, the other does not. 3 of the 4 ports are usable, and I re-checked the seating of the connector, so seems to be a component failure. Not clear if/how I can get a working replacement from Watipuno... Update: Amazon did a refund on the part; Still, it will be a while before I try to re-open and re-install a replacement.

Cheap, fast, repair to keep your mbp on the road.
This review is for the following part/item: Replacement DC in Power Jack Connector I/O USB-C Board Charging Port Compatible with MacBook Pro 13" 15" 16" Model A1989 A1990 A2141 A2159 A2251 A2289 A2338 Mid 2018-2020 I used this replacement part to swap out a seriously beat up port on a 2018 MBP. It was cheap, fast, and fairly easy to swap out. The quality is acceptable; it works with no issues. I use the iFixIt.com instructions.. I recommend them for your macbook DIY repairs... And I recommend Amazon partner up with them because everyone looking to keep their 'puter on the road a little bit longer always seems to go from ifixit to amazon..and back :-) Recommended.
