Wir lieben dieses Buch. Wunderschön illustriert und die Länge des Textes ist sehr passend. Auch Bestens für die zweisprachige Erziehung geeignet.

I love this book so much that every year my child’s school does a book exchange at Christmas. Each child brings a wrapped new book with a $5 limit and they put it under the Christmas tree and do an exchange. Well, I have bought this book every year since he was three. I don’t mind that it’s more than $5 because it’s that good and sweet of a story. We love the illustrations as well. Most rhyming books have very short passages, but this one does an excellent job of telling a story that is not too lengthy and not too short. It’s the perfect gift for any child, classroom, soon to be parent. I’d say any age can enjoy this story.

I'd not come across Helen and Thomas Docherty's genius before we recently read The Knight who Wouldn't Fight but I was so impressed by their charming illustrations and and fast flowing rhymes that I went straight out and ordered this effort of theirs. I am equally impressed with this charming tale of a mysterious creature who appears to be stealing books belonging to all the young Woodland creatures. A daring young rabbit, Eliza Brown, is desperate to solve the mystery and it isn't long before the perpetrator is caught and his motives revealed. Any book that promotes a love of reading gets a big thumbs up from me and this ceratiainly does.
