What a great controller to use!!!
Dear Customer Reviews, I am shocked by the customers negative reviews when it comes purchasing a Power A Moga XP7-X. Many reviewers really want the best of everything. I am shocked and Suprise on how good the product is. I gave a week to test the controller and see what I thought about the controller. I bought it last week and got it in shipment Thursday. I am very pleased with the wireless charging. As far as the wireless charging goes it charges quick same as 15 watts that was use from Samsung. I didn't notice a slow wireless charging that other experience. All I know is that some viewers will need to upgrade newer phone so it is compatible with wireless charging. Some viewers say that one game didn't work with Call of Duty Mobile. When anyone buys a new controller should have watch YouTube video or read the description questionnaires about Call of Duty Mobile. As far as Call of Duty Mobile goes it is their fault for not adding the controller support. That is not Power A fault. Call of Duty Mobile should have added HID support. Bluetooth works well. Bluetooth picks up very quick. And it doesn't take long to pair it. It doesn't take long to recognize. All of the buttons feel are fantastic for me. I know many of you complained about the controller right thumb stick being too close. It is not that close for me, but I like it because I can rest my thumb. And I know many folks complained about the left and right triggers. To me I don't think that is not that bad at all. I would prefer the Moga controller over the Xbox controller. The battery lasts long time without not using the wireless charging. I would recommend take the battery brick with you on a long trip. My Samsung galaxy s22+ battery lasts all day long while the controller is on. When I play a game for 4 to 6 hours. My phone pulls at least 50% of the battery up to the half of the day. I don't use wireless charging unless I go for long trip. I bought this controller was mainly to fit my phone with a case because the controller can expand 7.14 inches wide. The controller is wide without not put a phone in the controller. I like the Moga Controller because of the width and the Xbox Controller width is somewhat too short. I find Xbox controller uncomfortable and not wide enough. Many customers don't like Micro-USB. The Micro-USB wasn't really for wireless charging or charging the main battery in the Moga Controller. The Moga Controller has two different modes for an older Xbox 360 and newer Xbox One or newer. There are two different modes. One is called Direct input. Second is called XInput. Microsoft when they release Xbox 360 console. The Xbox 360 and Windows 11 or older supports XInput. The Smartphones and Tablets and Chrome supports Direct Input. The XInput is for Windows 11 or older. The Direct Input is for Smartphones and tablets and websites xbox.com/play and Chrome. The XInput setup is different. You have to hold down select and start for just few seconds. It will switch back and forth from different modes. The Windows 11 or older needs Micro-USB - USB-A cable to connect again make sure you switch modes, and it will work with Windows 11 or older. I did not mess with the programmable buttons. I am not fan of messing with it. The pictures above are an adaptor that has USB Female and USB-Male to plug in the USB-Male. Apparently, Power A forgot to add that adaptor to use it for tablets. Two cables that came in the box only has short cable USB-c and long cable USB-A. I use the long cable that hooks up the adaptor for the pictures above that I show you. What do I think about the product. I absolutely loved the Moga XP7-X Controller. I really don't think there is nothing wrong with the controller. I am an old school. I am 40 years old. My age dates back Atari and NES and GameCube and Xbox original PS2 PS3 Xbox 360 Wii Nintendo Switch and google stadia and PC. Possibly Xbox Series S for me. Many of you probably are in your 20's are saying Hey it is 2022 Power A get USB-C! LOL!

Good, but too many flaws to justify the price.
So, overall this is a good product. Pros - Pretty comfortable to hold Face buttons feel very good, and dpad is good too Full sized analog sticks, and analog triggers Wireless charging Perfect size for phones in portrait and landscape mode, DS and 3ds emulation work well Cons - There is a better alternative for the same price The analog triggers feel very stiff Charges via Micro USB, which is ridiculous, considering it is also a wireless power bank, and every phone that supports wireless charging uses USB-C and not micro usb, it is silly to use Micro USB for this or anything else in 2022 The face is crowded, if you press the A button your thumb will also be touching the joystick This thing is a scratch magnet, I have had it for less than a day and there are already about 5 noticeable significant scratches Shoulder button press is very light and not at all satisfying Compared with the other controller in my pictures that is the same price, the other one charges with USB-C, has the best joysticks I have ever felt, feels much more premium overall, and does not scratch easily, has just about the best smoothest analog triggers I've ever used, and the other one is just more comfortable and not at all cramped in the button layout, it is pretty much just an xbox controller cut in half. So in conclusion, if you really value the power bank or the ability to play in portrait mode, then you should get this, but in any other case you should pass on this and go for the better controller. I personally thing a more appropriate price for this PowerA MOGA XP7-X would be aroung 75 dollars US Update: seller is terrible I wouldn't do any business with them at all.

Works perfect with Samsung Fold 4/5 with case on
After some (one year of) consideration, I decided to buy this Moga XP7-X for my Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and I am not disappointed. I wanted a controller that had the usb-c on the left because I didn't want to have my phone hanging down; but sadly, everyone has decided to put it on the right side. There are a few that offer the port on the left side, but they don't offer the full trigger motion or the extra buttons. I almost bought the gamesir x2 pro because of the extra buttons, the full motion triggers and well, it's a lot cheaper; but it has the usb-c on the right side. I consider the MGX pro, but I know bluetooth can have some input lag, so the winner was this Moga. I have used Moga controllers since the first one that released like 10 years ago. They used to be more budget friendly and I do miss that, now they are charging a premium. The controller works great on my Fold 4, even with the case on which is not very slim, it's a rugged UB without hinge protection, still very bulky and it fits perfectly. I tried BT and it works very well, almost no noticeable input lag, but it is there. Depending on the game I can feel it. Via USB all actions are instant. As with every Moga, what I don't like (and no, I don't mind the micro-usb, as a nerd I have lots of different cables) is that it does not have any rumble. Some emulators will make the phone vibrate, but some will not so anything even though the vibration is turned on in the settings. The battery lasts forever, although I have only used it for a day, my phone died and the controller was still 4 dots. I know some people give this controller bad reviews because you need to play wired on PC to use Xinput, to me that's not a problem, I play wired anyday and I have another Moga for PC with the rumble for that. I don't have an Xbox, so I cannot tell about how it works with that. I bought it for my Android and it works fantastic with all my emulators from Atari to Wii, even Switch, but that emulator needs a much more powerful phone, or a lot more optimization. I absolutely recommend this controller to anyone who wants to play on their Fold 4/5.

I like it
If you’re just beginning with games or you travel, this is a good product. It recharge your cellular battery and it’s compatible with phones and tablets. I wish it would work for LG TVs. If you connected to Bluetooth, it will seem like it’s working then fail before you even open a game.

Good for mobile, bad for PC
I bought this primarily for PC gaming because I wanted an adult-sized wireless controller that doesn't assume my hands are the size of the average 8-year-old. This succeeds in that regard. It's plenty big, and my elbows and shoulders appreciated being able to have my hands a few inches apart instead of crammed against each other. But with the huge battery, it's also very heavy. The buttons are firm and require effort to trigger. The analog triggers are small, so fine control is difficult. The sticks have large dead zones, but I didn't notice any drift. Paired to my Galaxy Fold without difficulty. Wireless charging works, but it's nowhere powerful enough to keep the phone charged while gaming and barely enough to keep it topped up while idle. I feel it's more of a gimmick than a genuinely useful feature. Connectivity remained stable while gaming and didn't notice any lag. The Fold felt a little loose when folded and fell out in tablet mode, but a normal phone would probably be fine. The included stand/blanking plate is a nice little bonus, but doesn't feel like it will last very long and if this was my kid's, it'd be lost in a week. But overall, it's a perfectly good mobile-gaming controller. When trying to use it for my PC, however, things were not so smooth. Pairing worked OK, but in Bluetooth mode the controller can only function as a DInput controller. This is great for retro gaming, but for modern XInput games the button mapping is off. If the controller is connected by USB, you can switch to XInput by holding Start and Select for 3 seconds, but that setting doesn't carry over to Bluetooth mode. Micro-USB ports don't provide enough physical support for being plugged in long-term while the controller is in use (Microsoft still makes this mistake too) and will fail much faster than a USB-C port, so I wouldn't want to use this extensively in wired mode. And if I'd wanted a wired controller, I'd have bought a wired controller. I don't do enough mobile gaming to justify keeping it, so this is going back.

HORRIBLE TRIGGERS
Pros: -Large grips similar to a console controller (Xbox) So thumb isn't bending/crimping too much to play -Wireless Charging since it doesn't connect with USB-C Cons: -Worst triggers I've ever experienced in any controller. Super squishy -Worthless Phone Stand, won't hold up my Galaxy S20, needs better adjustment pivot points. It's not needed or something I cared about, but its trash. -Uses USB-micro connection. I thought these were extinct. Horrible to have to carry around yet another different usb cable. -Horrible placement of the back paddle buttons. They were way too low where you are trying to hold onto the grips, needs to be placed higher. I really wanted to like this controller because I'm trying to find a mobile controller with large grips similar to a console controller. However, the triggers are so bad, none of the Pros would compensate.

Great 3rd party controller that easily rivals others!
I ordered this instead of an xbox one or Playstation 4 Controller Because 1st of all the price was a lot better. I was impressed when I got it my only problem is that some games don't support 3rd party controllers and some games won't support controllers at all so if you get this you have to look and to the panda game pad app If you want to play it on some games. Other than that I really love the functionability of the controller. It's clearly made for a handheld device because it has a Built-in battery that allows you to charge your phone off of it while you use it it does drain the battery life faster for the controller but it is a neat feature Along with the two advance gaming buttons that are easy to set up.

Works as advertised great for ps remote play
I got this mainly to use with Playstation remote play(Ps5) and a few emulators. To use with Playstation remote play you with need to install a third party app called psplay remote ($6). 1. The buttons are responsive ★★★★☆ 2. The joysticks are great ★★★★☆ 3. Real analog triggers ★★★★☆ 4. Since I have a Samsung s22 ultra the wireless charging drains the controller quickly during game sessions when tested ★★★☆☆ 5. Great power saving features, the controller goes off after maybe a minute or 2 if there is no input but reconnects very quickly ★★★★★ But overall can still give it a ★★★★★
