FIDO2 Security Key, Two Factor Authentication (2FA) NFC Security Key, Connect via NFC for Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, Dropbox, Mifare DESFire, Convenient Card Format, FIDO Certified

I bought this without really knowing much about it, but needing to set up a 2FA on my Nicehash account. I tried to get some sort of support for this and eventually gave up because I couldn't figure out how to use it with Nicehash. It does work with some of the other accounts like Google and Microsoft. It uses NFC communication and is supposed to be compatible with Apple, Android and Windows, and with most browsers. In order to use it with a computer, you will need a card reader, which I had to buy separately since my computer didn't have one. For the phones, you just need to find where the NFC reader is, generally either the top or center, and make sure you align it correctly to get it to read your card. This card looks like a credit card, so it is easy to carry in your wallet, making it extremely easy to carry. So far mine is holding up well despite repeated use and being carried around in my wallet constantly. If you have a card reader or a phone that is NFC capable, and you want to set up 2FA, this might be a good option for you.

So much better to have access to one of these in my wallet and one of these somewhere else to keep my phone safe

So I bought this not fully understanding what Fido security was. I was interested in the technology since I have a dell rugged computer with a card reader built into it. I’ve since used the card everyday and carry it in my wallet. I work in the oil fields so my wallet and cards take a beating and this card has held up well so far.

EDIT: As of September 2023, Google now requires managed credentials to be stored on the authenticator, which as I noted earlier, this card does not support. This means this card no longer works with Google accounts (it might still work if you had already set up your google account with it in the past, I'm uncertain.)Original review:First, I really like that this is in a card form-factor. I wanted to find a key that would work in smartcard readers as I am sometimes in a situation where no USB is available. This card did the trick, specifically for Microsoft (business & personal) accounts and Bitwarden. No software needed, same experience as yubikey, just asked to establish the PIN on first use. The NFC also worked well on my Andriod phone.The one issue that I did encounter was when registering as a security key for my Microsoft Business account. As the card is only FIDO2 Level 1 certified (this might not be the only reason), Microsoft Business accounts default settings do not allow it to be used. I had to toggle the "Enforce attestation" to off. Hopefully this is something that gets worked out in the future and my only reason for not giving a 5 star review. I will try other cards as I find them and update this review if one works with attestation.

Contact every provider for assistance and your left with nothing. Cards wouldn’t activate, cards aren’t able to be used after initial setup. I did the step by step and it didn’t work out. Greatest idea but nothing.

You can mute, turn off, not allow -etc etc , but that will not stop someone from listening to your every word! Really - it happens , it happened to me , and utilizing weak security protocols from my FORMER cell provider , my entire identity was stolen by someone access my phone illegally, one they captured my passcodes via my camera and my information thru 24 / 7 ease-dropping, by the time it was discovered it was too late , I would not dare allow anyone to use a phone in my home , or around me without this mic-block - it works and my hackers tried to disable it remotely with no success! I keep extra ones that I let people around me use to keep our conversations private , at my house you can leave your phone in your car, or use the mic-Locke! Once soneobe gains access to your camera they can see your passcodes or your s keystroke counter to learn it, in real time I was able to screen record a hacker using my user id and passcode, but once I added the NDC card with a second security key , they could not use the passcode alone, they had to have the physical card and key or it would not allow access. A must have for todays AI -black hat hacker world !!!
