Review: Attothekiru sonjaida - Excellent Best insight= think everything is just smallest chunk of information Review: Great book - Organize and manage your knowledge! - Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte is a book about how to organize and manage your knowledge in a way that makes it more accessible and useful. Author argues that our brains are not designed to store large amounts of information, and that we need to create a "second brain" to help us do this. This second brain can be a physical or digital system, but it should be a place where we can store all of our ideas, notes, and reference materials in a way that we can easily find and use them. The book is divided into four parts: Capture, Organize, Distill, and Express. In the Capture phase, he discusses how to collect information from a variety of sources, including books, articles, podcasts, and online courses. He also talks about how to take notes in a way that is both efficient and effective. The Organize phase is all about creating a system for storing your notes and information. Forte provides a number of different frameworks for organizing your second brain, and he also discusses the importance of using tags and labels to make your information easy to find. The Distill phase is about turning your notes and information into something that is more useful and actionable. Forte talks about how to summarize your notes, identify patterns and connections, and create new ideas. The Express phase is about sharing your knowledge with others. Author discusses how to create presentations, write articles, and publish your work online. Key points of the book: Our brains are not designed to store large amounts of information. We need to create a "second brain" to help us organize and manage our knowledge. A second brain can be a physical or digital system. The four phases of building a second brain are Capture, Organize, Distill, and Express. The Capture phase is about collecting information from a variety of sources. The Organize phase is about creating a system for storing your notes and information. The Distill phase is about turning your notes and information into something that is more useful and actionable. The Express phase is about sharing your knowledge with others. Overall, Building a Second Brain is a well-written and informative book that provides a comprehensive overview of the concept of a second brain. Forte's framework is easy to follow and understand, and he provides a number of practical tips and tools that you can use to build your own second brain. If you are interested in improving your productivity, creativity, and overall knowledge management, then I highly recommend reading this book.

Captivate you throughout, you transform to new at the end
from my experience, usually non fiction books are boring. But this book entices me with lots of interesting facts and stories. I think it happens when an author writes a book from the heart. You see new avenues of productivity by eliminating biases and myths. I recommend this book to those who are not familiar with book reading but want to enhance productivity. For others, it is a good treat.

Recommended for PKM beginners
All the criticism of this book are very valid and this is not for everyone. 1. Yes, nothing in this book is original. 2. Yes, it could have been a simple blog post. 3. Yes, it basically an advertisement for his thousand-dollar online course But! If you are someone new to PKM and exploring PKM this is a must read, otherwise skip it. If you are like me, its possible you have a PKM system without knowing what it is. I have a been trying for years to create my own PKM (Personal Knowledge Management) without knowing what it really is. PKM stands for Personal Knowledge Management. It refers to the process of collecting, organizing, managing, and sharing one's knowledge and information for personal or professional use. I obsessively take notes of all the book I read and bookmark articles, podcast. But organizing and using/applying the stuff I learnt is a nightmare. So, one of my goals for the current year is to create my own common place book. I came across this book “Second Brain” last year. My initial impression was it sounded too good to true and borderline scammy. Naturally, I skipped it. For the past six months, I diligently took notes organized, re-organized notes and spend a lot of effort. I ran into many problems – how to organise the notes, whether to go for analogue or digital system, best way to re-use and apply it. So thought I would give this book a try and it really helped me a lot. And I did make a lot of beginner’s mistakes said in the book. PARA method is pretty useful to organize your PKM. I did come across other methods but this seems to be the straight forward and simple approach in my view. If I were not into PKM or an expert in PKM, I will probably call this book a ‘thrash’. I’m rating it high because as a beginner it really helped me with my “second brain”.

A book which will teach you what you already know
So just completed reading this book. I loved how it started but in the midway I started getting bored. I don’t know but this book should be half the amount of pages it has. I won’t use the word repetitive but it was saying the same things in different ways
