Son’s review: “Mama, I chop! Chop, chop, chop!” My (Mama’s) review: these are great for my toddler to explore cutting up foods. Ever since he was a baby, he’s been wanting to do everything that is adults do, including food prep and cooking! These are way better than using butter knives. My son can hold on to them easily with a good grip and they are sharp enough to cut food but won’t hurt him if he gets his finger. He chopped up an entire carton of strawberries and then proceeded to eat them all while doing it 🙃😂. He’s obsessed. We started out by having him cut rolled playdoh and then transitioned to these. They’ve held up in the top rack of the dishwasher but for some reason cut up bananas need a good scrub with soap first. We’ve always washed them immediately after use, I wouldn’t let these get food dried on them, I feel like that would be a disaster waiting to happen. I’m so glad I purchased these!

If your little one is interested in cooking or loves helping out in the kitchen, this knife set is perfect. The Tovla Jr. knives are safe, easy to use, and work really well for cutting soft fruits and veggies. My daughter has been using hers since she was 4, and it’s been such a great way to get her involved with meal prep. I recently bought another set as a gift for a friend’s child, and they loved it too! The only downside is that it doesn’t handle tougher foods—like chopping chocolate—but for most kid-friendly tasks, it’s a great starter set. Highly recommend for budding chefs!

A just for fun gift for my grandson. They work well. He has chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, & fruits so far. It’s a great product for a child that enjoys pretending to cook and mix things up. He also loves to help my daughter in the kitchen chopping stuff up she needs for dinner. They are sharp enough to get the job done without worrying about your little one getting hurt.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set! Honestly, thank you to whoever invented this!! I’ve been trying to teach my 7 year old some responsibility and independence with making his own snacks, but I was always a nervous wreck watching him handle a real knife. We tried those "lighter" safety knives before, but they just made the fruit look "ugly" as my child says lol, and it was actually harder for him to use. This set is such a win because it is zero stress for me. I can finally walk away and do my own thing without hovering like a crazy person. It actually works and cuts strawberries or veggies perfectly without being "scary" sharp. Also, the cute factor is so real- that little recipe book is ADORABLE and the whole set is so attractive that my child wanted to start cooking the second we opened the box. If you want your kid to feel like a pro chef without the ER trip, just get it. I'm obsessed! Great job you guys!
