I was skeptical, purchasing a fishing scale for $21.00..However I was pleasantly surprised as to excellent quality of the material the scale was made of and the functionality of the device. It far exceeded my expectations and I will purchase one as a gift for a friend. It also provides the needed functionally for the type of fishing I do in the Gulf of America. What a GREAT PRODUCT and I will recommend it to others in my fishing community...Thank you FISHFUN for a fantastic product.

Great scale with excellent repeatability and accuracy for the money.

The scale looks very good. I appreciate that the company showed the quality pieces that they use inside of their scale on their website. That sold me. The molded plastic body and the handle both look and feel very solid. The only drawback to the scale is the battery cover. It's thin and doesn't feel sturdy. Yes, they even included a tiny screwdriver to open the battery cover! It's a nice touch. I wish there was a place on the scale to hold the mini-screwdriver. The cover screw attaches to a metal sleeve imbedded in the plastic. It's not just screwed into plastic. But when I opened it, the screw that holds the cover fell out. I was being careful, but not careful enough. I found it, but if I was changing batteries in a boat or in a cabin, it would have been lost for good, and I would be putting duct tape on the back of my scale to hold the cover on. I wish the battery cover had a rim around the edge and had a water resistant silicon gasket. It would be stronger and maybe moisture resistant. The battery cover on my unit is flexed a bit and doesn't fit perfectly flush. I hope moisture doesn't get inside. The display is very bright, backlit green. It looks great indoors, but I didn't try it outdoors in the sun. I lifted a 5 gallon bottle of water and it felt solid. It seemed to give a good reading. When it stabilizes, it beeps and holds the reading until you push the tare button. The mini tape measure goes to about 33 inches. It feels a bit cheap. If I pulled it any more, it would probably break. But it's definitely handy. I hope it holds up. Overall, I'm glad I bought it. But honestly, that will depend on if it still works well ten years from now, like an actual spring scale would. Or at least five years? (How about a lifetime warranty?)

I bought this scale over a year ago. First off, It’s still working, and it’s just as accurate as it was the very first day I used it. After countless drops from hanging the hook on my belt loop. Or leaving it in my car in Oklahoma’s hundred degree plus summer days. I also work in the produce delivery industry. So I use it all the time weighing stuff at work. I still also haven’t had to replace the batteries yet. So this scale has received more abuse, and use than any other fishing scale. I think it’s very easy and simple to use. The only negative I can really say about it is. The tape measure is pretty difficult to get out, and use. Some complain on here that the hook is hard to get “unhooked” from its place on the back of the scale. If you will put the hook it’s holding spot on the back, and remove it a few times. It gets a lot easier to remove after a few times of doing that. But other than the tape measure problem, I love it!!! I sure wish everything else in this world would work just as good as this scale works!!!!! I will be buying another one when this one does finally wear out. *** UPDATE**** I just purchased a second one. The first one was involved in an unfortunate auto accident, and was submerged in water. So I had to replace it. Though no fault of the scale.

It's solid construction and accurate to a tee. I like how it has a hold and peak weight function as that is critical for my application. I'd say the price point is on the money for the great quality of this scale. I used it to calibrate my torque wrenches.

well made, nice and easy to use

I am pleased with the quality and function of this scale. I don't catch big fish but will use it to weigh larger items like luggage, and to test the accuracy of my inexpensive (non-professional grade) torque wrench. I lashed two 25 lb dumbbells together and weighed them twice. Once the scale read 50.3 and the second time 50.4. I find this level of accuracy to be more than satisfactory since the rope I used would have bumped the measurement up just over 50 lbs. The display is well-lit and easy to read. Someone commented that you have to hold the weight up for too long before it will complete the measurement, but I found that by holding the scale steady, it reached a decision rather quickly. I'm happy with this purchase.

Great scale easy to use, light up display with easy to see weights, and the tape measure is perfect to measure each fish while you weigh them. Small, accurate, heavy duty, dependable scale and tape this product is a must have for every angler.

Very good quality, does what it supposed to do. This is my second scale. Used the first one daily in the shop for quite long time.
