4-Cans "Nuri" Potuguese Sardines in Pure Olive Oil 125g ea (500g total)

Best sardines for their price point. The standard Portuguese sardine. This sets the standard for high quality European pilchard sardines. A quality product in every way. Never disappointed after opening a can of these. These are part of both my survival and everyday pantry. Meaty oily not too fishy.

These sardines are first class. Will put most all of the grocery store varieties to shame. These fish are caught and hand packed by and old established family business.

We love these sardines! We've been purchasing canned sardines for years and these are by far the best! There are far more in each can than in other brands, the sardines are larger and the taste is amazing. My husband loves to dip his crackers in the olive oil that's included and the freshness of the olive oil is amazing! They are more expensive than other brands, which held me back from first purchasing them, but now I'm sold and will find it hard to buy any other brands.

My wife has French- Canadian heritage. She knows more than me about sardines. After searching more on the topic, I ordered various brands from Portugal & Spain. On our initial sardine-tasting event, NURI was served. We both agreed, it is top quality. Pending further tasting, we placed NURI well above others, generally sold in food stores in the U.S.A.

I usually shy away from full size pilchards bit these are nothing like regular cheap sardines. These are delicious. Maybe the best sardines I've ever had. I immediately went and ordered more to keep in stock. 11/10

I don’t know why these sardines are overrated considering the taste is generic. Presentation is good. But it is a bit pricey than most. I love sardines in olive oil and this can has just the right amount. The pieces are firm but I prefer my sardines with skin on and tinier.

My husband was not keen on trying sardines so I researched and offered him the Nuri Portuguese sardines, nicely chilled, along with toast & mustard. He loved it!
