Amazing sound

I bought these as an alternative to the more sterile and flat response studio headphone I use for music production, I wanted something for 'recreational listening'. These are not only great for that right out of the box, the the companion app allows you to dial in your preferred EQ for different listening uses (movies v music for example). The noise cancellation is very good, not Bose level, but still very good. They seem well built, but time will tell. The charging cable is a little short, but I like that the case has a compartment fir the charging and passive audio cable (and there's room left over for either an airplane adapter and/or a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter too . It would be nice if those had been included at this price point, but I suspect people buying these will already have a draw full of them.

Pros: Excellent sound isolation and ambient mode Lightweight: the lightest I use so far Poor sound quality is a setting matter. You need to utilize the EQ in the Sony Headphones app, available for OSx and Andriod, then you can have an amazing sound! The hand and figure gestures on the cap become very handy, especially on the right cap. Voices on phone calls are very clear Battery life is good! Cons: If you have big ears, these headphones are not for you Your ears will heat up maybe after 30-40 minutes, but it's bearable in average weather The MX4 were more cushioned and comfortable on the ears than these They are not very comfortable hanging from the neck either After maybe 30 minutes, you can feel some heaviness at the top of your head especially if you are sitting

Noise cancellation is so good Battery life is amazing I used at the gym and it kept me away from all the classes noise.

Pros: It’s light with comfortable memory foam, sturdy and has amazing sound quality, battery life and connectivity. I love seamless noice cancellation and transparency mode and gestures (it’s like magic). I also got it pre-owned from Amazon and saved about 50% off the original retail price. Well worth it! Cons: When not in use, wearing it around your neck is quite uncomfortable. I think I would prefer something with a bit more bass.. While the sound stage is dynamic and clear, it does not sound as punchy as JBL drivers but that’s not a deal breaker. Verdict: highly recommend it!

I'm very disappointed with these headphones. I've had them for less than 20 days and the outer paint is already peeling. It seems like the coating is coming off on its own, despite normal use and careful handling. For a product that's supposed to be new, this level of poor quality is unacceptable. They already look old and worn after only a few weeks. I expected much greater durability. I wouldn't recommend this product. Very poor quality. AND THEY'RE SONY!

It’s an excellent ANC headset no other headphones can compare in this price range. The sound is great, though I personally wish it were slightly louder. One downside I must mention is that it’s not foldable. However, the comfort is impressive I don’t even feel like I’m wearing a headset. Overall, it’s a great buy at this price.

Bought this as a gift for my brother in India and one month after I gifted this to him, one side speaker is not working. I have no idea what to do about this.

Great noise cancelling

These are incredible Super comfortable fit And the noise cancelling part is amazing The ear parts fit great and make me feel like I’m floating in the music I went back and forth between these and the Bose, but I’m so glad I got these Highly highly recommend them Plus the modern color and cool carrying case are awesome too
