Better than expected. Turns in the ignition smooth, as good as OEM. I purchased one on line for $7.50 and it had to be jammed into the ignition. I purchased this at a few dollars more and it is as good as ever. Unit snapped back easily when putting in my original computer module and the emergency key also snapped into place. When placing into ignition the fod is firm but does fit properly. Big difference is now when turning on ignition, I do not get any stops, the turn is smooth. Delivery was above and beyond, original order said 1 week, I received it in 3 days. Just remember, this is only the fob housing without the computer card or white plastic keeper inside that holds the computer chip in place prior to inserting the battery housing.

I can’t believe Amazon allows this cheap Chinese junk to be sold on its site. The “replacement” key fob shell arrived with the battery holder extending from the shell by 3/16”. When I tried to push the empty battery holder into its empty shell, the holder refused to go home. And this is with both parts empty! Add a battery and the circuit board and I guarantee you would never be able to close the gap. The plastic shell had lots of untrimmed flashing preventing the holder from fully seating. The holder also has no rubber gasket like the original to keep out moisture and dust. Even the metal key looks and feels cheap. I’d be surprised if you could get a locksmith to cut a functional metal key with this blank. ABSOLUTE JUNK! Waste of time and money. You have been warned.

The fob functions well.

It has no mercedes logo on the back and the buttons are REALLY hard to press! I have to use both hands to lock or unlock my car.. Build quality is alright though.

It actually fits my 2006 Mercedes Benz c280! As you can see from my video my key fob was messy! And Benz was charging me $400!for a replacement! Instead I got on Amazon and ordered this beautiful thing. This is just a shell with no chip or batteries included but I hoped on YouTube and and learned how to switch my chip from my old to my new fob. DOWNSIDE THE LOCK BUTTON DOES NOT WORK! I will reach out to costumer service after this

100%oem replacement size and for the price u cant go wrong

This quality compared to the original key: * the plastic battery holder not properly fitting into itself. * it appears the same but it is not * the circuit board is the heart. To get it out of the original and put it into this "replacement" is super risky and not what I would recommend. * the feel of it in your hand - cheap. It does not come with any explanation, manual, not even a proper wrapping/package.

I transferred the computer chip from my old one & it works. Found out later could have bought a Remote Key Fob Shell with the Auto manufacture's logo on it.

Spare key...wish it could be more durable..
