When I first took this out of the package, it would not sit flat on my counter and instead wobbled quite a bit. I flipped it over and found that one of the rubber feet was not properly in place - see photo. I fixed that and then it sat flat on my counter. I tested this first with known 20 gram calibration weights, and then by comparing it to 2 other scales that I have. The smaller silver scale is a high precision scale, and the red scale is a basic kitchen scale. You will see in my photos that the accuracy varies a bit, sometimes reading a little high and sometimes reading a little low. But I find this small variation to be perfectly acceptable for a coffee scale or kitchen scale. The scale loses a star for the display though. It is a bit blurry, appearing as if there is something over it. It does ship with a protective plastic covering on the display, but removing that still leaves the display blurry. It is not unreadable by any means, but your eyes do have to work a little bit harder than they should need to.

This scale can be used to weigh many things besides coffee. I make hand made soaps and this scale will be perfect for that. The readout is clear and it holds for a long time meaning I don't have to rush to get my oils weighed before it blinks off. This is my first scale that weighs in half grams too. I can't find anything negative to say about it.

It is the regular food and beverage scale. It s too big for the espresso machine. Please read carefully the dimension. Very tricky.

Overall this is a great basic scale. Very easy to use and has a nice big screen and scale plate for weighing. The display is a big blurry but still easy to read as the numbers are large. The scale seems a bit cheap and light but works great. For the price I think it’s a decent buy!

This is an easy to use coffee scale that is relatively accurate and has a timer and silicone mat to help keep things from sliding off. It is small and compact which make it easy to store and it has a bit of an industrial look.
