Melnor 65191AMZ Adjustable Spike Set Sprinkler Bundle, Green, Yellow

I’ve been using Melnor sprinklers for my lawn and garden, and I’m very impressed with their performance. The build quality feels durable and well-made, much sturdier than other sprinklers I’ve tried. No leaks as of 1 month of usage. It sprays evenly 360 degrees. You can adjust the rotation based on where you want to water. Light weight so they are easy to move around.

Doesn’t take long to figure it out and set it up. Really simple actually. It did come with directions, and it’s always a good idea to read directions, but it was still really simple to get working. The sprinklers ARE plastic, kind of light to medium duty, but durable enough for what you’ll need. The hoses are smaller in circumference than a regular hose, but that works out well actually. The unit WILL connect to another unit, which is what I did, and I have a lot of extra hose as my garden area is not that big, but it’s pretty easy to place the sprinklers where you want them. Adjustable sprinkler heads are working well too. Sure beats standing in the sun watering plants!

I've used this product in the past and decided to give a set to my granddaughter for her garden, as it works well and is of good quality--so I do recommend it. Luckily, I had it sent to me first so I could wrap it (birthday gift), and it was obviously a previously returned item. The hoses had been uncoiled and not taped back up properly, and the bag with the Quick Connect items was broken open and two parts were missing (I found one part already installed (incorrectly!) on a spike. So glad I checked it before giving as a gift. It doesn't look like it had actually been used, and if it had been for my use I wouldn't have worried about the missing parts as I have other quick connectors that I could use. But it would have been nice to get what I paid for (a new, complete set).

I got tired of moving a traditional sprinkler around the yard to water everything, so I bought several of these kits and created a dedicated sprinkler system around the yard that is connected to the house faucets. Now the grass, flowers, shrubs, and trees all get watered at once. The sprinklers and accompanying hoses were easy to assemble and I like that the heads support 0-360 spray and can also be rotated to angle the spray as needed. One thing to keep in mind is that the water pressure from your house faucet affects the amount of water each sprinkler will use and the more you link together the weaker each sprinkler will get. I found the first 2 had the best spray pattern and water pressure and it continued to gradually reduce with each additional sprinkler. You can play around with the settings on each sprinkler depending on how many you use together to figure out how much water you want to come out of each. I have five hooked up together to one faucet with the first three watering my yard and the last two watering smaller portions of flowerbeds with reduce water spray. These are way better than moving a traditional sprinkler around the yard. Recommended!

I like how adjustable these are with respect to direction and how much of a full circle they can be adjusted to spray. However, they do not spray more than about a 10' diameter when set on full 360 degrees. There's also a problem if you have a small shrub (e.g. lavender or small rosemary) or a plant with many stalks (e.g. crocosmia) because the spray just hits them and drips down, so whatever is on the other side doesn't get any water. I'm sure they work well for lawns, but not so well for flower beds with a variety of plants.

I needed to find a way to water my newly laid sod without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. I tried an oscillating sprinkler, but after two days of running around the back yard, moving the sprinkler, and trying to adjust the flow for each section of the lawn, I gave up and returned it. It was the same brand as this set but leaked inconsistently so that I never got a controlled soak. This set of three sprinklers can be configured to many shapes. You get three sprinkler heads, two 15 ft. hose portions, a quick-connect adapter, and all the fittings to hook them together. Each sprinkler head can be adjusted up to 360 degrees and aimed to direct spray in the desired direction. You turn on the water to adjust the distance that they spray. I purchased two sets so I can water both sides of my yard (pool between the sides) without having to move anything. Now that they are set up, I just turn the water on, tell Alexa to set a timer, and go about my business. The time needed to water the lawn has been reduced by 90%. The only thing I don't like about these sprinklers is that they are plastic and that the plastic seems soft. I was worried that I had cross-threaded a couple of the heads but they are not leaking...so far. Time will tell if they hold up. But if they don't and I can get my lawn re-established before they fail, I will have protected my much larger investment for about $80. Five stars for convenience and ease of use.

Great product! I will share that you have to finagle it a little bit to get it right. To preface this I am using this to water my backyard. I bought this setup thinking that I would have optimal coverage of my backyard and while the setup was exactly I expected I ended up ordering another single sprinkler to have 4 total. I have to say from reading some of the reviews I have no issues with coverage, yes do you lose some distance in how far 1 sprinkler will go but that is common sense in my opinion. There is also a lot tied to the water pressure coming our of your hose as well. I adjusted the flow rate with the on/off valves a bit here and there at each sprinkler and I am getting at least 15 - 20 feet from 4 sprinklers on 1 hose line. Completely satisfied with this and I am about to order another set of three to cover the other half of my backyard. A sprinkler system for my backyard for under $150 total, that is a win in my book!

Really bad quallity hose. The joint snapped out under water pressure after 3 days of usage. Cheaply made product with no quality.

I bought these for my front yard that has a few gardens and is tricky to set up a single sprinkler in a way that gets full cover. With this package of three it allowed me to place three of them in different parts of my front yard and I was even able to bury the hose. The range of coverage is very adjustable and within seconds I had it completely set up and spraying everywhere that I needed it to. Super easy to use very convenient. Summer was a total success.

These sprinklers work great. If you don't have high water pressure you may need to balance the glow for each one but they do the job!
