I wish I had found HikeGoo sooner! I’ve tried everything over the years—moleskin, tape, fancy socks—but nothing worked quite like this. I purchased new tennis shoes from Vesi for a European trip. I'd worn them about 3 weeks to break them in. But they were a little snug. I often get a blister on my left foot on the small toe next to the pinky toe. Put the goo on and also on the side of the pinky toe, on the heels, and under the toes in general - no blisters. Even when I put it on a blister that I got, because I didn't use it once, it provided enough lubrication to protect the blister and prevented pain and friction. Wife even used it due to bra chafing - It is not recommended to use on open wound. Chaffing was not open, and it stopped the chaffing. Definitely buy again.

I've always been plagued by blisters on trips that involve a lot of walking. Jusrt a year ago from the time of this review I went to on a trip to Europe that required a lot of walking and had blisters almost immediately and through all of the trip. My feet took weeks to recover after that trip. I bought this ahead of a trip that involved a lot of hiking in the Alps and a lot of walking in cities on a two week trip and after using it almost daily (especially on days that required a lot of walking) I didn't get one single blister. I can't remember last time I didn't have blisters during a European trip. This stuff works. Also good for chafing in other areas like thighs.

Great product, works very well but it's so thick it's almost impossible to get out of the tube.

I read about this product after suffering blisters at the tips of my toes. I was skeptical, but quickly humbled by this product. I know it says all day protection, but i have been applying every 5 miles and have yet to get another blister. Im a believer and will tell everyone i know about it. I really slather it on, but ive found it goes a long way. Even on hot days it doesnt seem to "melt" in the container.

After being a user of Hike Goo for many years, I finally took the time to write this review, even though I never write reviews for anything. Over the years, I have done several long, epic hikes with this stuff, and I have never once gotten a blister while using it. At the end of the day, my feet are always soft and happy, like I just spent a day at the spa instead of going up and down a mountain. Just recently, I decided to try using Hike Goo for non-hiking activities involving lots of standing and walking all day (amusement parks, zoos, big museums, walking for miles around a city, etc.). Maybe I just have bad feet or make poor shoe choices, but my feet are always so sore after those kinds of activities. NOT WITH HIKE GOO!! I just spent all day, from open to close, at a big amusement park, and my feet felt good enough to go for an evening walk and then walk back to the hotel at the end of the day, which has never, ever happened before. BUY THIS!!!!

I've been a distance runner and walker for a long time, and I have two toes that insist on getting blisters all the dang time. I've tried everything: body glide, anti chafe gel, Vaseline, liquid bandage, band-aids of several types, moleskin, toe socks, and "blister resist" socks. They sometimes work, but also inevitably fail me eventually. I had walked over 35 miles in 5 days and one of my problem toes had two blisters... which was unfortunate since I had 30 miles to do over two days right after. I slathered this on my other potential problem areas, and that toe with the two blisters. I'm absolutely THRILLED to say that not only did those blisters not hurt, but I didn't get any others! Hallelujah! This will be my new go-to for any long miles. My only complaint is that it was absolutely impossible to open. I have never had trouble opening a push down and turn cap in my entire life, but this one would not open. As you can see in my picture, I pushed down so hard while turning that the spout was pushed down into the tube! I tried the thumbtack trick, using a jar grip, and more. Nothing. I finally had to saw the thing open with a serrated knife, and scoop it into another container. Really frustrating.

This is a great product. Slather it on thick as directed by the instructions. Keeps my feet feeling good all day. One packet lasts me 2-3 applications on both my women's size 8 feet.
