Good value and they appear reasonably well constructed. But, the readings are inconsistent between devices within a range of about 3-4 degrees F. They should be calibrated more carefully. One reviewer stated that he calibrated his using the calibration screw. I assume he accessed the screw by removing the back, but I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. All that said, the lower cost digital thermometers only claim accuracy of + or- 1 degrees C which comes out to about the same accuracy. These will work fine to make sure the refrigerator and freezer are operating properly so long as you don’t feel the need for absolute accuracy.

Pop these anywhere you want to know what the temp is...Breaks down the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales too...Worth the bucks, gifted a couple, well received....Good for Fridges and Freezers.
