Scholastic Success with Grammar Grade 2 Workbook

I so love this book I wish more pages was there great educational learning

Bought this for my son to use over the summer break. Great for parents who don't have the time to create work sheets but still want to ensure their child have additional materials to practice with.

The book covers several areas that are needed to learn for 2nd grade. Very fun for the student and teaches so much. It is a great learning tool for 2nd graders. My daughter loves it, she is delayed in academics so this book is more for 7 year olds than a 15 year old.

Overall a good product for teachers. I wish each page had a place for students to write their names. I’ve used this several times with my students to help hone skills and concepts. I wish there were more pages and exercises in this book though.

Good for grammar practice and full of fun way to learn. Kids enjoy it and makes learning process easy.

Good for additional grammar practice

I'm using these books in the ESL classes that I teach (as well as for tutoring) and they are perfect as extra worksheets for in-class review and for homework. I make copies of the pages that I need, as I need them, and then pass them out. I also like that each grammar topic has an assessment page so you can quiz your students on what they learned. I bought these books in grade levels 2 through 5, so I can start with the simple introductions of each grammar topic (2nd grade level) before moving into more advanced grammar usage and sentence building (5th grade level). I use these worksheets in conjunction with the Practice Makes Perfect English Grammar workbooks.

I started homeschooling my two kids this school year and I bought Scholastic workbooks to use with the online curriculum we are using. I've always liked Scholastic's educational products and these don't disappoint. My kids enjoy working in all of them but their favorite is Grammar. I like the answer sheets at the back of the book. My only complaint would be that the start of the answer sheets is on the back of the last page in the workbook. I had to make a copy of the last page so I could remove all the answer sheets. I will be purchasing Scholastic workbooks again for next school year!
