It was lost, and finally 61 years later I discovered this reissue of it. Exactly like the one I had (more durable and better quality) and am so pleased with it. I have read the Stevenson novel and this illustrated version is a perfect telling of it. I don't know why all the movies made of it have changed the story so drastically, the novel surpasses them. Perfect telling of great novel
I had the original paperback classics illustrated of this novel when I was about 10. It was lost, and finally 61 years later I discovered this reissue of it. I only stumbled across these recently. Being a great lover of classics I have read many of them as the original books. But these are great to collect. Even my husband (who does not read a lot) likes them.
