They don't slide apart
There a little soft but. Hold well

Simple and easy to use
These shimmies seems durable and hopefully they last a long time. Using it for the toilet.

Just what I needed.
Due to issues I won't go into, I have a toilet that has had a "wobbly" disposition. I had used another item which was plastic and never was pleased with the result. I found these on line and being rubber, I thought this might be the ticket to helping solve the issue. They are fantastic. Once I got a couple of the wedges in place, I could trim off the excess with no difficulty. I can see where they would just be a handy item to keep on hand. FYI, I am a 76 year old who actually enjoys making sure things are done right.
