Amazing little tool
I had no idea such a tool existed. I'm using it to level and polar-align my telescope. I can even make it work as a clinometer, although it's a little awkward since you can't sight down the length of it while reading the display on the side. I checked its accuracy with a 4 ft. bubble level and it is pretty accurate, but you might want to use a traditional level for, say, floor joists in new home construction, which from what I've read is a little more accurate. But for most tasks, this thing is great. Strong, built-in magnet.

Working great so far!!
Love this unit. Mainly use it in my motorhome where I can put it about 15 feet away and fine tune level without having to go back and forth reading a level bubble. I can see it being very handy around the house too.

10x greater precision than iPhone built-in level!
I got this handy little box to level my house, plus it turned out very useful for leveling the stones in an outdoor patio. This item is durable and simple to use. It automatically senses when you want it to run in 1D (traditional bubble level mode) or 2D (bullseye surface level mode). The mode depends on whether it's lying on its back or on its side. Its screen defaults to a vividly legible dark mode, which is a mercy when we work at night or in dark crawl spaces. Be sure to get the separate pipe strap if you need to level & plumb tubular objects. Note, there is in fact a 1D (bubble style) and 2D (surface style) level built into iPhones, and so I compared them. There was no context. The iPhone level is imprecise. As of July 2025, the iPhone level does not even pretend to distinguish inclinations in increments of less than one degree. That is practically useless for construction, especially in safety-conscious construction applications. This item is far better than the iPhone's built-in digital level, and it was well worth paying for the upgrade. This Klein level's precision is 1/10th of a degree in both dimensions. That is plenty for most applications. Extremely high precision engineering applications will need a high end Pro level 10x - 100x more expensive, but for household tasks and general construction, this level is perfect. As an added benefit over an iPhone level, there are none of the cybersecurity risks of leaving your phone (with its private data and high replacement price tag) lying around a worksite, plus this one is ruggedized and weather-resistant. There is a shock-resistant orange bumper around the edge. You can leave it on a surface for reference, or leave it strapped to a pipe, and it'll likely survive the shift unscathed.

Very Good, Easy to Use
Perfect little device. I got the 935DAGL on sale and don't regret the expense one bit. Some functions are automated, like tilt screen, tilt function change. I've yet to explore the alarm and memory functions but I don't really need those in my home garage. The included storage pouch is a bit too snug, and has no belt loop or clip, but it works for protection.

Where has this tool been all my life
I used this to build a pool deck. What an awesome tool that makes it easy to level or plum posts and joists.

Excellent tool
This is an outstanding tool. Have had it about 1 year & it has proven indispensable in my shop and on the road. It's fast, accurate and tough, can't count how many times it's been dropped, yet it has never failed.

Perfect but overkill.
It is perfect in every way. No flaws. But the smaller version of this is better. It just is. You'll use the smaller one more. This bigger version . . . there is nothing like it, but Electricians have little use for the horizontal level, but everything else is nice.

Good tool with many uses.
This thing works great ! Can be used in many situations & the more you use it the more you realize new places it can be used. Leveling my trailer, leveling my tools on an uneven shop floor, etc. A very practical tool, worth the price & easy to use.

I’ve been using this Klein Tools digital angle finder for a variety of DIY and home projects, and it has quickly become one of my most-used tools. The display is bright, clear, and super easy to read, even in low light. The measurements are incredibly accurate, which makes leveling shelves, installing trim, hanging frames, and working on angled cuts so much easier and faster. I love the strong magnetic base — it sticks securely to metal surfaces and stays put while measuring. The compact size makes it easy to store in a toolbox or carry in a pocket. It feels solid, durable, and well-made, exactly what you’d expect from Klein Tools. If you’re a DIYer, contractor, or just want precise leveling for home projects, this is a must-have tool. Highly recommend!

Lots of functionality with this, the bullseye feature is an easy way to level in multiple planes. The alarm to let you know when you're close to target is a great feature, but there's not a whole lot of ramp up - it only starts to go off when you're fairly close (a degree or two) so you don't know where you are until you're nearly there. Still it's useful when you can't see the level (like levelling a shelving unit with adjustable feet). It's Great for pipes and shorter runs, but for longer runs or uneven surfaces your best bet it is lay a level down and place this on top. Bit of a pain, but about 1/4 the cost of a Stabila or Sola digital level so that's a decent trade off as long as your angles aren't steep enough to make it slide if you can't hold it there. A good tool to have in the kit.

I had originally intended to purchase the model 'below' this one, but I was able to secure a really good price on this item and it was worth it to add some more functionality for very little increase in price. I have used it on my mitre saw and my table saw to check blade angles. I also used it to level my table saw.
