These strip wheels remove oxidation, paint, and surface rust quickly without digging in like a hard grinding disc. Great for metal prep. They do wear (normal), but the 10-pack is good value. Wear eye protection and a mask—these throw debris.

These angle grinder paint and surface stripping discs are excellent. The pack is a great value, and even a single disc lasts a surprisingly long time, holding up well to tough jobs. They’re very effective at removing surface contaminants like rust, old paint, and grime without damaging the metal underneath. The discs cut consistently and don’t clog up easily, which makes the work go faster. Overall, a must-have for anyone doing restoration or prep work.

Unbelievable works amazing. Be very careful it bites. Whear protective equipment glasses gloves. I was using to remove two sided tape that was put on in the seventies, nothing would touch... Tried my Sanders 40 grip paper wouldn't touch it. This was amazing word of caution. If you use it inside, protect your area and your self .

Used these on metal for welding. they get the metal clean for a good weld without digging into the metal at all. Seems pretty durable too. OK for the $.

These discs do a fantastic job of prepping metal before welding (great for prepping aluminum btw). A little on the pricey side yes, however, these discs definitely save a lot of time and aggravation. They do wear out quick if you're not gentle with them, it's best to take your time with them. Do yourself a favor and give these discs a try, they're worth every penny!

Easily removed two layers of paint from wood railing 20+ years old.

used on removing paint on car body. worked great and very fast. however the wheel wears very rapidly. i managed to get about 1 sq foot of paint removed down to metal for each disk .

These have made short work in cleaning years of paint from a 1950s milling machine without doing damage to the base metal. They do chuck out a lot of dust so wearing a face mask is a must and i'd also recommend something to keep the bits of paint out of your hair. They also seem to last a long time and so offer good value for money.

I have been trying to get rid of paint on a brick wall for weeks, got so exhausted with the task, tried many different kind of disks and tools until I found those disks. They are like foam : they get everywhere and remove everything, got the brick wall done in one time and the burnt on my stone wall removed too! Will definitely buy again if I ever have the need for them. Note that the foam is consumed quickly on hard surfaces and you may need several for your intended work.

I used them to strip this oil drum. They work well but dissolve fast. But the finish is great.
