Good little switch
Works well if you only need 2 10G Ports. Gets a little hot but nothing too bad.

The Switch That Got Hot (A Networking Tale)
I needed a switch that was fast, With ten gigs of speed unsurpassed. So I ordered this TrendNet, A fine switch, and yet— It heated up quick! What a blast! It sat on my desk, horizontal, Its temperature: quite monumental! The heatsink, you see, Needs air to be free, But convection requires the vertical! So I flipped the thing up on its side, With the heatsink on top (what a ride!) The power jack low, The hot air could flow, And twenty degrees Fahrenheit died! Now some folks might say, "That's not stable!" But I printed some feet—I was able! (Or use rubber bumps, Adhesive, not lumps, To prop up this switch on your table.) It works as it should, fast and true, Does everything I need it to do. Just remember this tale: When your switch starts to fail, Turn it sideways! That's all you must do! So if you're considering this switch, (It's affordable—won't make you twitch), Just know it runs hot, But that matters not— Stand it up and you've conquered the glitch! 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: Good switch. Runs hot. Turn it sideways. Problem solved.

Great switches so far.
Been in production for 2 weeks. In combination with asus be19000 wireless router the network is more responsive. 10gb ports are used to interface between router lan and the second 10gb ports are used for in-home backbone. Haven't had the opportunity to test 2.5gb ports since im waiting for new nic cards since the usb 2.5gb ethernet adapters failed to connect at 2.5 gb. The throughput results were 200mb per sec.... im a trend net fan. I have had a great experience with the 1gb switches ... never had an issue with performance nor quality. Therefore only expect great performance from these new switches. I will follow up in a few weeks with throughput tests using 1gbs edge computers.

Scotty, we need more speed!
For the average network this will work great. Most connections for daily use will never max out this switch. It is cooled with a heat sink so it make no noise. Its plug and play so no fancy configuration required. Just runs in the background quietly doing an amazing job. I have gotten the full 2.5 gb transfer speed useing this. Just wish it had 6 10gb ports instead of 2

Economical switch
Easy to use and setup. Works good.

Solid device!
Decent little switch for multi-gig port expansion. Throughput tests out at about 1.6 GB/sec in my setup. Odd behavior when testing bidirectional throughput, where upstream return path is comparatively slow (150 MB/sec) but this could be due to external factors.

Unreliable
I got this to have a 10-gig uplink from the basement to my office where the majority of my data goes between. I know the TRENDnet brand and usually trust it, so this seemed like an obvious choice. I am working with a single-wire CAT7 RJ45 setup coming from another name-brand switch that is tested working great when directly connected to my 10-gig NIC on my computer. Unfortunately, adding this in to the mix muddles things up. The connection still shows 10-gigabit duplex, but I am seeing a lot of intermittent dropouts in traffic for all devices connected downstream. I had 2 pings set up to visualize it; one to my router, the other to another device attached downstream from this switch. Sure enough during a work Zoom call, I saw a drop in connection. The device downstream still got pings, but my router (and therefore the internet) was unreachable for a good 10 seconds. Then suddenly, it was back up and running just fine. This happens about once per hour or so. The traffic dropout is definitely between this switch and my LAN uplink. UPDATE: I was within the return window so I replaced with a new unit. EXACT same issue, if not more frequent now with the new unit. Its as if the attenuation in the 10-gig receiver port is not strong enough or something. Unfortunately I will be looking for a different solution and returning this.

Does what it says on the tin
So far no complaints. The ports are spaced nicely. Its a good weight. It gets warm but not too hot. Lights are sufficient indicators. No bells or whistles, just a basic utility for a basic task at a decent price.

Nothing wrong about it. Gets a bit warm but with 10Gbe it’s expected.

Nothing much to complain as a normal user. It's a normal 10gb hub with 4 2.5gb I use it as bridge between 2 workspace. Connected by 10gb and most of the devices are 2.5gb. Maybe change to full 10gb when the price come down. Ofc no poe in this price range.
