Great active sandal
Tevas do make the best sandals. The fit and finish are excellent and the prices more than fair for the quality materials and construction. They have managed to map the human foot anatomy better than other name brand sandal. The straps and footbed are comfortable.

Great for and comfortable, but...
I loved these Teva sandals, but the quality control is lacking. They are comfortable to walk in, and they are fairly light in weight. The fit is good, though the heal strap seems to sit a little lower than the last pair of Teva I owned. I really like the olive color. The last ones I owned traveled through the Grand Canyon and Olympic NP, so they were well worn. If these last as long, they'd be great, but the strap buckle was sewn at the wrong angle and now doesn't tighten correctly.

Great sandal! Two year review.
I bought these sandals almost two years ago and have worn them nearly 90% of that time. I am in my 70's and have neuropathy in my feet. Most shoes are uncomfortable. I have found these sandals to be the most comfortable things I can put on my feet by far; hence my wearing them nearly all the time no matter the weather. I prefer to wear them with socks, especially in cool/cold weather and I know that marks me as a nerd. At this stage of my life I don't care. There is still excellent padding in the footbed and the soles are just beginning to wear a little. I like the suede look, too. They are on sale right now on Amazon and I may just order another pair for when these eventually wear out. I am not a big hiker or anything, but I can say these are great for everyday walks. Teva has really knocked it out of the park with this sandal!

Great value, but runs large
As far as Teva sandals go, these being about $40 (at the time of this review) make them a steal. These are excellent hiking sandals. They feel and fit very much like the Hurricane XLT 2 line, but have a different aesthetic (the "dad sandal" if you will). The uppers are suede and look and feel much like a more rugged Birkenstock. Overall, a really nice balance of comfort, aesthetics, and stability. If you've worn other Teva sandals, you'll feel very much at home. If not, this is a good pair to start with. As always, be sure to wear them gradually so you have time to break them in. My main issues: like all Teva sandals, they are huge. I normally wear size 10 and they were gigantic. I had to size down all the way to 8 to get a proper fit. This pair was no exception. Size down at least one or two times. The other issue, more specific to my feet, is the toe strap can cause some discomfort. It does not rub, so blisters aren't really a concern, rather they can just apply pressure. Specifically the toe strap causes some discomfort on my right foot, as the strap seems to be sitting directly on top of the big toe joint. This is likely something that will go away as part of the gradual break-in process. But it's uncomfortable enough I cannot presently wear these all day.

love teva's
I purchased my first pair before my wife and I were married. 25 years or so ago. They where the brown leather ones. They lasted up until 2020, when the sole delaminated. I had a hard time finding a new pair that I liked the looks of. Most of them just look cheap. These ones do not look cheap or feel cheap. They are comfortable to wear. They had no issues with being in the Hawaiian waves. Take them to the beach in the morning, then rinse them off and wear them out to a nice dinner. Plus these fit better then the Keens and other pairs I have tried. happy with the purchase, and would buy them again.

TEVA is the one to trust
Just what I have always received from TEVA: sandals that are extremely comfortable, easily adjustable, simple to put on and take off, odor resistant, and nice looking. These have a modest amount of arch support so they are even more comfortable than older flat sandals. I highly recommend .

So far...really nice!
These are my first Teva pair of, well, anything, and so far I am impressed. Despite some reviews saying these are too large, the size 11 I ordered is spot on in size--the adjustable straps on top and in the rear ensure they fit nicely without slipping off. The rear straps are padded, so chafing should be minimized. (I don't plan on really long hikes with these--I have some Columbia hiking shoes for that.) They are also comfortable with good arch support and the soles have cushioning and flex. And I'm liking the color (Black Olive), as most of my shoes and sandals are shades of dark grey or black. So do I order a second pair in the Bungee Cord color? I'll wait a few weeks and see, as there is no discount on the price at the moment.

Excellent fit and or so comfortable. A great pair of sandals. I hope they last. This is my first pair and if the first week is any indication, I will be coming back again for another pair when they wear out.

Teva es pionero en este tipo de zapatos, tengo un par que he usado desde hace mas de 35 años y hasta ahora los estoy cambiando aunque la verdad fue capricho porque los anteriores están como nuevos, lo máximo de sandalias

Style, materials used and the build quality are all important. But for me, the most important aspect of sandals is how the straps that hug your foot are fastened to the bottom sole of the sandals. During summer, sandals are worn for comfort and cooling effect, and it'll inevitably get wet because people will walk in to water with them...which should be assumed by all sandal manufacturers. But they're not. When sandals get wet, this can loosen the bond that fastens the straps to the sole, and over time, it'll just fall out. Cheap sandals are merely bonded or glued on. Better ones are stitched on. High quality ones uses metal fasteners that are fastened directly to different layers of the sole, AND is glued on. Teva are among the few that uses the stitching and glue method, which makes them much more durable than your regular sandals. For $100, these are well worth the price, not to mention, stylish and comfortable. For context, sandals that use metal fasteners usually cost >150.
