Since my local store stopped carrying my favorite reed diffuser scent, I went on Amazon in search of a new brand to love. After reading countless reviews, I decided to try Sweet Water Decor’s Spa Day — and I’m so glad I did. When it arrived, it was packaged beautifully and securely, with a tight plug to prevent leaks during shipping. It’s clear that great care went into presentation and quality control. The diffuser itself is simple, elegant, and easy to set up — just remove the plug, insert the reeds, and let it do its magic. At first, the scent was light when smelling directly from the bottle, but after a few hours, once the reeds absorbed the oil, the fragrance began to fill the bathroom with a fresh, clean, and calming aroma. It’s the perfect balance of sea salt, jasmine, wood, and a soft creamy sweetness. Not too floral, not too sweet — just beautifully blended to create that true “spa” atmosphere. I’m very sensitive to overpowering scents, and this one is just right — subtle but noticeable, and it makes the whole space feel more relaxing and refreshed. The quality feels high-end, especially for the price, making it a great value for money. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed — the scent strength, calming effect, and packaging quality all exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be repurchasing and can’t wait to try some of the other scents from Sweet Water Decor!

These seem to do a better job and last longer than others I've tried. The scent is nice but not overpowering. I got the eucalyptus this time and it's the best, I think. I wish they would sell refills. Instead you have to buy the whole bottle each time. Seems wasteful.

Salt and Sea No. 35 is the smell of my dreams! This is that illusive scent that I have been searching for. It’s sophisticated, spa-like, pleasing to everyone. I’m buying more so I can place it throughout the house and getting some extra as gifts. Perfect for a housewarming or hostess gift!

This is my first Amazon review because I love it so much! I’m buying more as gifts. The scent is fabulous! Not too strong but makes an impact. Great price point for the value.

I really wanted to love the spa day but between the scent not being accurate to the description and I can tell it affects my fragrance allergy, I’m not sure that I will order again. It smells more like laundry so I have it in my laundry room and it works. I do love the smell of salt & sea, it works well in my office at work and I get compliments on it. The bottle itself is aesthetic so I’m likely going to reuse that and just fill with water for the look. It does work in entry way spaces and small bathrooms for a subtle but noticeable scent. I do wish the price point was better but if it lasts longer than a few weeks it might be worth it to reorder in other scents to try, will update on longevity.

This is exactly the kind of diffuser I was looking for to sit on the tiny shelf of my mud room key rack (see separate review). It was just the right size and had the look I was going for. The scent is nice, but I think I'd like like to try some of their other fragrances as I don't think I'm in love with Salt & Sea. I also used only 3 sticks instead of all of them to temper the scent since it's a small space. My one complaint is that the scent doesn't last very long unless you're swapping the sticks or turning them over in the bottle every couple days. If you don't do that you won't smell anything. I feel like it's also a bit pricey for what you get. That being said, it looks exactly like what I wanted, very minimal and I'm pleased with the little touch it adds to my laundry/mud room.

I haven't used a defuser in a long time and decided to give this a try, I really loved the scent I ordered, super happy with the smell and really suprised by how long it lasted, I had it in my bedroom, went away for the day and walked into a really lovely calming and not over powering smell at all

I bought Weekend. It is very strong and smells like shaving cream to me. I don't care for it. Going to try another scent.
