Great little gadget.
First one arrived broken but customer service took care of it promptly. New one works perfect as I’ve used it several times while fishing in my kayak. Used it to secure my pliers and the chord extends to the perfect length. A must have for kayak fishing. Locks firmly into a standard rail.

Old model.
It's the old model that has the plastic nipple on bottom. I was expecting the new model that has a metal nipple. I wanted the newer one because I had this old model before and the nipple sheared off with one big smack from a big red.

Strong and works well!
This is the second one of these we purchase for our kayaks. We use them to tie down our water bottle containers, which can be a little heavy when full. The retractor keeps them from rolling around on the kayaks. Works perfectly for us.

AWESOME RETRACTABLE LEASH
These are great - so far I have (03) of them on my kayak. I have one for a hand paddle, one for my fishing pliers, and one for my cell phone case. All of mine are the track mounted version.
