Over the past two decades the group has established itself as a true trendsetter in heavy music: They've been nominated for two Grammys, toured the globe with everyone from Eminem to Marilyn Manson. However the group's Crooked Teeth sees the band returning to their humble-and hungry-roots. The album was recorded in a cramped West Hollywood studio with up-and-coming producers Nicholas "RAS" Furlong and Colin Brittain, who grew up listening to Papa Roach and inspired them to revisit some of the traits that personally endeared the band to them, most notably frontman Jacoby Shaddix's remarkable rapping technique. Never one to shy away from difficult topics, Papa Roach dug deep with Crooked Teeth and refused to censor themselves when it came to their opinion of the current political landscape and organized religion. For example, on "None Of The Above," every ounce of musical intensity on the album is mirrored by Shaddix's words whether he's screaming, singing or rhyming. Review: I love, love - I love, love, love Papa Roach! I love this cd, it's absolutely great in my opinion. I will say that with this particular version of the cd, it comes with some live tracks that were done in Detroit. If you do not like the sound of music sung live, then maybe you might not want this version of the cd. I hate saying anything negative about Papa Roach, because I am a die hard fan of the band, but to be completely honest.......I have heard the band sing live before in concert, and they sounded way better in person than on some of the live tracks on this cd. I really hate saying that, but I'm just trying to be honest for those that are considering buying this version of the cd. Nevertheless, this cd is awesome just like all of their other cds! I love, love, love Papa Roach! I love this cd, it's absolutely great in my opinion. I will say that with this particular version of the cd, it comes with some live tracks that were done in Detroit. Love this CD and the fact that it also includes a live CD as well! Get CD to listen to when your having one if those days that you can sing along too and crank the radio up loud! A must have!

Solid Papa Roach with a Developed Sound
One of their best albums in a long time (not that the past few have been bad). Very good, almost pop, songs but all VERY hard; part of my daily music diet. The bonus live album is a treat but I don't think it captures how really insane in concert Papa Roach brings it.

Love this CD, Have always loved Papa Roach. He really outdid himself this time! Love the lyrics, they put their hearts and souls into this album and that's what makes it so great! Listen to it over and over. I really enjoy it! BUY IT! Support your artists!

Papa Roach keeps getting better. I really enjoy this album. It has a good mix of fun songs and serious songs that are all written very well. It's nice to get a complete album these days instead of a single and a bunch of filler.

I love Papa Roach this albums good and very different from F.E.A.R. its mixed but it still has some great tracks defiently recommend this version Break the Fall and Ricochet are two of my favorites off the album.
