Hard Electronic Case

Excellent product. Very strong case. Was a bit larger than i expected, but I guess that left extra room for cables etc

GLCON is my new go-to for cases, I think they have made a case for every need I've had and they offer the best for protection and the best in lining too. Durability wise, I think the case itself will last a very long time, but idk about the loop where you could hang something like usually a carabiner from, that may fray and come loose. My fix ahead of time for that is that I have an adhesive that is like black tar from 3M that comes in maybe a 7 or 8 inch long tube. I take that goopy stuff and put a little bit on the outside of the seems of that loop at the base of where it starts at the case and let it dry with the carabiner in the loop too. And when it dries it's still pretty flexible, but pretty hard and it adds a lot of durability and as it's black you have to really look close to see it, so it blends in really well. We recently replaced a battery tester with a newer and more expensive device. The last device was ruined by battery leakage in the power box. This time I'm batching up my testing and will add remove the power box batteries when the device is in service. This hard shell case in matching color will be perfect for storage of both batteries and test device. The fit is perfect as suggested on the review of the actual test device. Well worth the expense of the case consider the cost of the device.

I love these type of cases for my portable SSD drives, miscellaneous cables, jump drives, etc. This is roomy, has good keepers and a padded divider between the two halves. Get two.

Best case I found for storing a Bitfunx Mini-003 leverless controller once the middle belt with the carabiner on it is cut out using fabric scissors. Also very sturdy and protective shell. However, while being spotlessly clean, it's chemical profile smells strangely earthy, like fresh cut grass or like it's been sitting in a lawn where there was gardening work, for some reason. I'll just air it out.

The case itself is actually just fine. Reasonably sturdy, good zipper, nice layout of the dividers, and as originally intended for me it almost perfectly fits the foam cutout from the original packaging for the Hackrf One with some space for the cable and a couple of extra antennae. However upon opening the sealed bag it shipped in (in which the case was stored opened and flat, which was weird) I was treated to one of the worst, harsh, most plasticky chemical smells I have ever encountered. Like it's seriously bad, and probably only made worse by the sealed bag forcing it to marinate in it's own cancer fumes for god knows how long. Even after a week of airing out, I finally just ran it through the clothes washer in desperation (which it withstood perfectly fine, it really seems to be a good case) which only reduced the smell, but did NOT eliminate it. I'm probably going to keep it, but I'll be airing it out for probably a month before I store anything in it.
