Water doesn't quite stay in these, but they are realistic looking and definitely kept the birds away. Move them ever night before bed for the most success. My neighbors have a bird feeder and the birds in our duplex were waking us up each morning. If anything it kept birds more quiet, and less on our balcony.

The heads do not stay in a centered position facing forward and they do not turn very well with the breeze either. Less effective than what I expected. Ducks and geese have figured it out quickly.

Ok Amazon People!!! I put one of these Owls out on the side of my house to scare the crows(We have a lot of Crows) not only did this fake owl scare the crows, he scared an actual owl! Which I had no idea we had one around here. I just placed it this morning and now at night it scared a skunk which sprayed everywhere and now my garage is stinky. Fake owl works but now I am scared! Never realized how many critters or Real Owls were out there! Sorry Owl!

Unfortunately these did not work the way I thought they would. They did not faze the birds one bit.

Didn't work for the territorial bird attacking his reflection in the window. Bird has been attacking window for several days, I put the "owl" out in early morning today and it had no effect on birds behavior. Owl is the size of a small owl, it makes decent decoration, and may work in some cases, but not mine.
