Good quality
These pencils are wonderful. My son has issue with writing. When he uses these pencils his writing improves 10 fold. They are well made and easy to use.

Perfect find!
This has been perfect for a student in my classroom that has struggled with forming letters using enough pressure and controlling the pencil itself. We tried the wider triangular pencils, we tried golf pencils but this has been the winner by far! It’s comfortable for him, is uncomplicated, and is ergonomic. It’s a bonus that he thinks it looks cool! Best of all, he is writing more, willingly, and with confidence! Now everyone wants a “lucky wishbone” pencil. 😊 Glad to find this for him. I’ll be excited to share this find with colleagues and definitely his third grade teacher next year.

Nice design, but has some inconveniences
I am a handwriting tutor and I'm always on the lookout for tools to help my students. One family said they couldn't use removable pencil grippers, so I bought some of these to try. I like the design. When held properly, the pencil does promote proper finger placement. It even fits my hand (though it would be tough for an adult with wider fingers). I like that it's one piece. That will make it a bit more convenient to use consistently, I think. The cons: - I don't really like that you have to have special leads for it. It would be great if you could use a more standard mechanical pencil lead. Also, while the leads aren't too difficult for an adult to change, I think a child would struggle with it. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but looking ahead to classroom use, that might be a challenge. The eraser is a bit awkward to use, in my opinion, but it does erase well. I bought a set of 4. Three were fine, one wouldn't hold a lead. It didn't look broken, but clearly there was something wrong with it.

Pencil grip
This is the coolest design I’ve seen yet. My autistic grandson is improving his skills with this

Last a long time, great for grasp training
Use these with my special needs students, they really help transitioning away from palming a pencil and the kids are motivated to use the “rocket” pencils. They usually pick the erasers off but that’s ok. I have several that I’ve had 2 years now and aside from the erasers being picked off they still work perfectly for writing. I have only refilled once for the two year ones, they last and the leads are thick enough none of my kids have ever broken one but they don’t make unreasonable thick marks for working on writing in kindergarten and first grade sizing.

Lead is loose
Some of the pencils are unable to hold the lead properly. It also does not have any space for identification knowing kids will use it. It does not come with extra lead and too costly to buy.

Great for people with joint pain or hand cramping
I’m a pediatric occupational therapist and we keep these pencils on hand at our office. Many kids who press too firmly on their pencils or have a hard time with a proper pencil grip find these pencils to be a great alternative. They are also good for adults with arthritis and joint pain.

My son’s teacher had these in her classroom to help kids hold pencils correctly. It’s super simple and this is. Great pack. Highly recommend if your child is having difficulty.
