Better than expected. So easy anf fast to heat. Taste is better than expected. Quantity of food in that little package is amazing

A more than adequate quick meal that heats in the microwave (or other methods). Shelf-stable for 5 years (by expiration date) but probably more. Heating on half the recommended power twice as long produces much more even heating. I rated it 4 stars against cooking a fresh chicken, fresh potatoes and fresh carrots (which would get 5 stars).

This was purchased because of its long shelf life. I was prepared to choke one of them down since survival food usually isn’t great. To my surprise, it was quite good! There was a lot of meat & potatoes & carrots were sparingly scattered in. I would order it again.

The picture on the package shows two chicken drumsticks (legs) but contains only one, which makes the meal mostly potatoes. Otherwise tastes OK. Won't buy again because of the faulty package details,

These are delicious and filling. They are easy to heat in the microwave and go great with hot rice. The only problem is the packaging is misleading. It shows two chicken drumsticks with potatoes and carrots on the box. However, you only get one drumstick. KJ Poultry needs to change the box to show an accurate depiction of their product. Other than that, we really enjoyed these dinners. They are a bit on the pricey side because Kosher food requires special handling, so we buy them as an occasional treat.

I keep a dinner in a emg bag and after a time in storage. It still tastes good.

Perfect size meal and very good. I love the way it doesn't need refrigeration. I have purchased other of these meals before and would buy them anytime.

I wasn’t expecting like astew type meal , but more like the picture on the box. But everything was in container more like a stew, which was ok, but greasy somewhat. Im not use to eating this type of meal, re no refrigerator needed, but it tasted good, especially if its a cold damp night, more like comfort food. But if you have diverticulitis, dont not eat this. I have diverticulitis, and even though it tasted good, it didn’t agree. It was a little greasy and I’ve never eaten this type of food before- no refrigeration needed, so , unfortunately im not buying any more. Other than that, it was ok. Tasted good. Made for a good stew. But its not shown as a stew, only dry type food. Use your own judgement on this one.
