This is a nice big wire wrapper. I'm new to jewelry making, so I'm still practicing on making things with wire. I love that it comes with the silicone sleeve, which helps with gripping the wire. Nice product at a nice price.

Perfect to straighten wire or do specific bending

Was a bit hesitant to order these pliers online as I could not "try them out" first to see if they were comfortable and easy to use. But I did and I am so glad I did! The handle is very comfy and does not dig into your hand while you are making your loops or using the pliers for other jewelry making techniques. The plastic on the single loop protects your wire from marking and dents and I have not had a problem with them. But the best part of all is that the pliers make perfect consistent loops! I am very picky when it comes to making loops and they must be perfect and it usually takes me a while to get what I want for quality. But with these pliers I have cut down on the time it takes to make my loop(s) and they are perfect each and every time. The overall construction of the pliers is very good and especially for the price. I love them!

I have to admit I didn't read the description of this very well and was rather surprised when they arrived and I found the loops these make are quite large (13 mm, 16 mm, and 20 mm). But, that is my fault and not the product's fault, and I decided not to send these back because I am interested in doing a lot more wire work and I already have some ideas of how to use larger loops of wire (for instance, in chains of my own design). The only reason I took a star off is that these are super heavy. I have small hands and tiny, weak wrists, so these are not the easiest tool to for me hold and use. Someone with average-sized or stronger hands would probably have a much easier time with these (and I *can* get them to work; perhaps with a bit more practice it will be easier). I do feel that the gripping capabilities with the handles are good; my hands don't slip. I have been practicing so far with 20 gauge wire (I happen to have a lot of it around, primarily copper). I have not tried making loops around other objects in the past (truthfully, that never occurred to me) and I expect now that I have used these, I will not be wanting to use anything else but this type of pliers. (I will probably also order some that make smaller diameter loops.) It is very nice to be able to make uniform loops from the get-go and to hold on to wire without poking my fingers (I am self-taught when it comes to wire and I am sure I don't have the best technique...). The quality of my pliers was good. I did not notice any places where the metal was marred or scratched, and the coating on the handles was also in good shape. All parts moved smoothly. I am far from being an expert in wire work but I find the learning curve for these is not too steep for a beginner!

These bail making pliers are very nice, easy to use, great quality

Descent pliers, handle black comes off on your hand. Took some scrubbling to remove. Otherwise great.

I am not a very quick learner, since I had a coma....and even so, it works for me which is to say! I really recommend it to anyone trying to make twists or a ring!

Easy to use and boy have i used it. The only thing i wish was that the rubberized part (the central post) was more rounded.While holding the wire in place and wrapping around the round section for coiling, it tends to make a slight flattened section by default. Otherwise a good instrument to own
