HP DeskJet 2655 All-in-One Compact Printer, Instant Ink, Works with Alexa - Noble Blue (V1N01A)

I love this printer. I use it in my home, so not printing huge amounts by any means, but I think it is great quality for a home office printer. It was super easy to set up, probably one of the easiest I've ever installed. I can't rave enough about the associated app though. That's what really makes this printer worth it. You can install an HP printer app on your phone and this will allow you to take pictures of documents with your phone and save them as PDFs to your phone. You can also print from your phone (photos or documents), order ink cartridges, and get tech support from the app. You can also sign up for automatic ink replacement, the app can tell when the printer is low on ink and automatically mail you new ink cartridges so you never run out (so awesome). I hadn't upgraded my printer for several years so I'm not sure if this something all printers have now, but I thought it was really cool. The print quality is great as well. I'm a big fan and would highly recommend for the average use home office.

Bad reviews almost scared me from buying this. Obviously all the bad reviews are user error. I let this printer sit around for a couple days, not in a rush to connect it and use it, because I honestly thought it was gonna Jam, not work, get paper stuck, have to print a review page every time, or something else. This printer works amazingly. Set it up, it asked for a password (which I couldn’t find in the manual) online it said try “12345678” and that worked! After connected to my phone thru the app, and connected to my computer, it printed flawlessly. Nothing wrong happened. Very happy with this purchase. Also some reviews say the ink doesn’t last long. It tells you right on the ink cartridge how much it prints. You can buy the cheapest ink (which is what it comes with) or you can buy high yield ink. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, this is great!! (Does not come with cord, that connects it to computer, I bought one on amazon for $5) I printed our company an invoice from this printer!!

This is a great printer. Still works as new. I enjoy that it’s bluetooth and can print from any device. The fact that it can print pictures in glossy paper is super convenient! You can scan/print with ease. The quality of black and grey is a tiny bit fuzzy but 97% readable. Highly recommend.

This printer meets all my needs. I did some research before purchasing as some HP print cartridges are outrageously expensive. The ones this printer takes are pretty reasonable. I love that I can sit in my living room & send items to my printer in the back room. My first time using a wi-fi printer - I am hooked! I don't turn it off so I don't go thru the 'resetting' of the print cartridges some had commented on. I've used it fairly extensively since I got it nearly a month ago and so far the 'starter cartridges' are still holding up, I did buy replacements thinking I'd only get a couple weeks use. Happy to say I was wrong! I am happy with the print quality. It does well for my needs. (I am not using it to reproduce photos so I can't speak to that.) I am getting clear images in black & in color. Set up was super easy - I'm OLD & not tech savvy!

Update - 7 months after purchasing. I absolutely HATE this printer!! After the initial pain of hooking it up wirelessly I thought I was good to go. Wrong. This printer hardly ever works. And when it does, it stops for no apparent reason. It will say jammed and then after I fix it, it just won’t work again. I’ve tried restarting, unplugging, reinstalling...everything. And it goes through ink so fast...probably since it is always printing the test pages and instructions unnecessarily. I have dealt with it as long as I can. I’m buying a new printer today. Since this was my first HP purchase, I don’t trust any HP product again. I will be looking for a new brand. Trust me when I say...DO NOT waste your money!!!!! It’s not worth the frustration. This printer is great! I love that I’m able to print wirelessly. But like other reviewers have said, it’s a PAIN to set up! I assumed that I’d have no problems. I was so wrong!!! I ended up having to call to get customer service to get them to fix it. But since then it’s been good. I haven’t had an issue with it using ink too fast as others have stated. Good printer for the price!

I love my hp printer! When my last one died on me I knew I wanted another one! Perfect for at home projects! Quality is really good! Connected fast to WiFi. Easy to print.

UPDATE: I made the mistake of purchasing the plan to automatically have ink cartridges sent when it ran low. I had to do quite a bit of printing and ran out so because the printing was time-sensitive, I had to purchase cartridges at the store. Now, there are constant problems where the printer won't print and the program has ABSOLUTELY NO OPTIONS to order cartridges directly. I have asked "the community", tried chat, been on hold for an agent, and no luck. I can't get the "right" cartridges for the program to "read" them. THey just say you have to have THEIR cartridges in to be recognized and new ink sent, but if you ever need to use a different cartridge like I did, it no longer works and you can't get them to send new "correct" type cartridges. On the printer that was NOT connected to this program, I have had no problems printing at all so JUST DON'T BELIEVE the hype about the printer automatically ordering ink in time to replace what you have. It is completely frustrating and causes the printer to refuse to print. I already had one of these printers at work sitting on my desk where it's small footprint was a blessing in a crowded office! It prints better than a more expensive Brother printer that I was replacing and after setting it up to order its own ink, I have found it to be a perfect printer in my home as well! I never run out of ink anymore and have to run to the store (if it is open when I need the ink). And it does a fine job of scanning to my laptop, making copies and printing. It isn't a fast-output printer if that's what you are looking for, but a very serviceable small printer with high quality print-outs even on photos.

I purchased this printer as th eone I had prior; HP ENVY, was much to big and bulky for my new dorm room. The HP Deskjet is the perfect size and is light weigth as well, I have it on my desk and it takes up no space at all. The wifi connection is good on it and is perfect for printing off notes, slides, and papers.

Works fantastic for what I use it for! I use it to print schoolwork and it prints quite quick for a cheap printer and the print quality is good! Happy with it.

Easy to set up

I did NOT order this item. It was ordered by a scammer. I assumed that I dealing with a "Brother technician" who was trying to repair a problem, online, with my existing printer. He told me that if they could not fix my printer, they would send me a printer for free. Boy I should have seen that coming! Anyway he could not fix the problem and said that a printer was coming. This is the printer I received and the Invoice had my name as the purchaser. I was upset that this was so easy to do. But because the printer was only $41.00 and because I did not have a colored printer I figured it would do as a "second or spare" printer. My existing printer, and what I require in a printer, has a legal sized flatbed. I have since bought a large printer with a legal sized flatbed. Anyway, back to this printer. From day one when we tried to hook this printer up the light indicator for the "colored" cartridge would not come on. The light indicator for the black cartridge comes on but not for the colored cartridge. There is nothing wrong with the colored cartridge. A friend of mine uses the same colored cartridge as this printer and her cartridge works in her printer so she brought it over and put it in this printer (to test if the cartridge was the problem), and what do you know, the light indicator for the "colored" cartridge would not come on! So it is obvious that the problem does not lie with the cartridge but with the printer. As I cannot get this printer to print in color I have no choice but to turf it in the garage. So much for my "spare" printer. P.S. I have changed all my passwords to strong passwords and have a good security system in place that sometimes blocks website that I know are safe.

Easy to set up, wireless connection means I can print from multiple devices. Not the fastest at printing, but the print quality is excellent
