Good mouse for "claw" style grippers.
I've long been a fan of Logitech game mice because of their initial fit/finish and reliability. I momentarily went with corsair gaming mice and after 2 bad experiences, including one going completely DOA after a firmware update, went back to Logitech. I've never had a logitech mouse go DOA on me. However, over time. I find that the soft-touch and rubberized coatings on their mice eventually become sticky. Or even wearing off completely. Mind you every logitech mouse still works. It's just no longer pleasant to handle with the worn spots straight down to the plastic. Even after wiping them down and washing my hands. It feels like it's crusted over with many layers of red-hot cheetos dust. I've been a fan recently of EVGA's Z10 gaming keyboards with the Cherry brown switches. So i decided to give the X12 mouse (white) a try. The price was right at $19.99 on sale. The mouse itself is light and absent of any kind of soft touch or rubberized coating. Which likely means you won't run into the wear and tear issues associated with higher end mice with the "nice when new" coatings and surfaces. The plastic itself reminds of of the textured white plastic used on the legendary Microsoft laser Intellimouse revered by old school FPS gamers. The button clicks are crisp and precise. The tracking is spot on. The unleashed RBG software is easy to use and allows control over the RGB lighting over 3 separate zones with a handful of effects with various colors. If you don't care for gimmicky effects, you could always set it to static with any color of choice, or turn it off completely. So far so good. Time will tell how the X12 will wear. But given first impressions and the cheap price. I may consider picking up another X12 (white) to put into cold storage incase this mouse ends up being the GOAT. Naturally i'll update this review (good or bad) as I continue to use this mouse. Update: A year later the scroll wheel starting acting up and jumping when scrolling in a web browser on sites like Amazon and Facebook. Scrolling down very slowly will cause the page to scroll up instead. To rule out it wasn't anything else, I plugged my crusty old Logitech G402 mouse into the same USB port on the PC and kept the windows mouse settings the same and the annoyance completely vanished. Scrolling became predictable and precise again. Obviously an issue with the sensor tracking the movement of the scroll wheel. I'll take this mouse to my workshop to blast it with some compressed air, but at this point, it doesn't look good in regards to longevity for this mouse if that doesn't resolve the issue. Luckily I only paid $20 for it.

great mouse and ARGB capable
bought it for the ambidextrous features since i use both hands at times. the feel is nice and the size is just and fits perfect. but hand sizes vary. you can use the ARGB features by either downloading the app from EVGA directly or using openRGB (open source ARGB app) to access the led controller. feels pretty accurate in FPS games and buttons are smooth and effective. id definitely buy it again, just might for a back up.

Best for the price
Really happy about this mouse, I purchased it for less than $10. I was usin a Logitech 550L (and more expensive) that supposedly is for big hands but this one is bigger. Changing colors depending on how many dpi you prefer to use and customizable. Works perfect and is very confortable. It would be perfect if was wireless, for the price is unbeatable.

Great mouse, but not durable
Amazing mouse for about 3-6 months; Mouse worked great at first, I loved the shape so much that it instantly replaced my 2 wireless mice that were lighter. The 8K feature seems to work pretty well, it has its quirks and little bugs here and there but they weren't noticeable on games that were compatible... And that was part of the initial problem, not that many software are compatible with 8K gaming devices yet. I ran this mouse with a Razer 8K Keyboard as well, my PC ran it fine, but the 3 games I tested it on were basically crashing or not receiving input even at 2K settings. The mouse is cheaply made which is to be expected at the price point, and if I really wanted to I'm sure EVGA would replace it but doesn't seem worth it. After 6 months of use the scroll wheel gave up, it stops intermittently and often, this is unfortunately something I use often when browsing or playing MOBA games, or as a shortcut function in other games. The black plastic cover in the middle wheel peels off easily, and the left click feels softer than the right click, which wasn't a huge issue either but can be annoying. Overall, a great mouse that had potential to be 5 star and shoots above it's price point, but I'd recommend investing a small bit more onto a more quality gaming mouse with less RGB

Feels great, buttons great.
Took a bit of troubleshooting but I got the software to work. No problem. This mouse feels great in the hand. I have size L-XL gloves so a mouse big enough to not cramp my mitts is very important. I am an ambidextrous mouse user, and this fits both hands great. I love the side-button duplication. The DPS switch is placed perfectly. The RGB lights are VERY bright. The fabric wrapped cable is nice and soft but also stiff inside. Would like to have had a removeable cable so I can swap out for a shorter one, but I guess coiling is fine. I think it's great for the price. The color-chooser in the software is sub-standard. The RGB cannot seem to create Orange light very well at all. Other than that the color selection is rather narrow for some reason; I think it is the software. Can’t be sure.

cheap mouse cant beat it for the price
I needed a gaming mouse for a trip, needed it fast, for 15 bucks it was well worth it and I ended up using it long after the trip was over, nice surprise.

Extremely comfortable and durable gaming mouse!
I have bought numerous EVGA products. Over the years, I continue to be impressed with the quality of their products. This is another good addition to my experience with EVGA. This is a smooth and easy gripping gaming mouse. With the right DPI, and minimal but efficient RGB lighting, this may have become one of my favorite mice. I use Corsair as my primary gaming peripheral line, but this is just as good. You can throw in some HyperX products as well and the EVGA is significantly cheaper when you can catch it on sale and it's just as promising. I can't say enough about how much I like this mouse and I can't wait to find my next EVGA product to invest in.

Good mouse! It has 6 buttons but only 4are useful . The shape is little wierd. Doesn't fit my hand properly. Had difficulty on pressing side switches. Scroll wheel is smooth and functional. Gaming is top notch! Its liftoff sensor works well! And tracking is good. This is a very good gaming mouse ;)

Reviews mentioned the shape might be awkward for some, I personally am a fan of it. Buttons are nice, dpi button in the center is always a plus, and ambidextrous shape is a life saver for a left handed user like me. Only issue is the scroll wheel has a bit of a rough travel.

Updated review May 2025. I wanted ambidextrous because I like having buttons on both sides. The poor man's macro mouse. The mouse has a great feel (7/10) but the software, EVGA Unleash, is buggy. For me preset 1 never works. But if I configure and leave the mouse on preset 2 or 3 it'll work most of the time. Still glitchy. But it's livable. For the price I'm happy with it.

Es un mouse muy bonito, ligero y cómodo. El cable podría mejorar, pero por el precio es una excelente compra.
