Works great. Slips off too sometimes. Use extra ascenders.

Works well
This works well. The only feature that I miss is that I don't see a way to lock the latch open for easy loading of the rope. This feature exists on some other ascenders that I have. I don't see approvals from CE nor UIAA, but the quality seems to be on part with other equipment that does carry those ratings. These work best when used with a good sturdy pair of work boots.

Rope slips out easily
I like how secure it is to my foot, but it doesn't keep the rope from slipping completely out of the catch area.

Doesn't work, very unsafe
This device has a good idea, but very poor quality of the parts used to build. I think the spring which holds the stopper is very weak and don't do anything. With every step up/ attempt to climb, the rope comes out of the device and you are hanging mid air on your other safety gear... Very unsafe, very frustrating! Would never buy if I knew how bad it is, my life is worth much better safety gear!

Definitely grabs the rope
Honestly I won't be using it. Quality seems good however I've never used a foot ascender and my foot gets jacked a bit like twisted. This may be with all foot ascenders. The cam lock definitely won't slip pretty sharp grippers. I will use it as a rope lock with a tether and caribenee. Not completely sure dropping the star for what I mentioned is fair if all ascenders would be the same but... If you used others and that's the way they work go a head and make it a 5 star then.

Es buen producto SOLO QUE como comentan otros compradores, al momento de estar subiendo se sale la cuerda (uso Petzel de 11.6 mm) y es un problema estar poniendotela estando suspendido, ya lo revise no cuenta con golpes y si la verdad es fastidioso. En una trepa de 8mts. se salio 3 veces, en otras ocasiones de igual manera 2 o 3 veces. Si el fabricante puede ver ese detalle para mejorar estaria bien.
