Great Value
I'm an auto tech, and the switch to electric ratchets from air ratchets was much needed and long overdue. But when I saw other guys spending hundreds on theirs, that was a non-starter for me. But this was $76, way cheaper than other 1/4 in. electrics. Seems to be above average quality and sturdiness for it's intended purposes. Especially useful doing interior work. May not last forever, but I'm easy on tools, so I'll probably have this for years. A no-brainer purchase. EDIT: After 4+ years of almost daily use and abuse, I'm happy to report that this is still working perfectly. Liked it so much that I bought it's 3/8 and 3/8 long neck versions too, giving me 4 batteries for three tools. All 4 batteries still going strong! Definitely a great value. HIGHLY Recommended!!

Time saver
Great tool just have to be careful because it has very good torque and you might snap off a bolt

My son absolutely loved it!
This was a gift for Christmas and he loves it. He wanted Milwaukee but I could not afford that, but this has all the same torque specs and everything as the more expensive. My son is a small engine mechanic, and this works out great for him.

Powerful for it's size.
I needed the most compact 1/4" ratchet I could find. I own mostly Milwaukee and Ryobi stuff, but neither offer a compact model that appeals to me. After multiple searches I kept coming across posts about this AC Delco ratchet. I didn't buy this to break free nuts and bolts, but rather to just run them in and out in right spaces. My first usage of it was to remove the camshaft caps on a Ford Triton engine. I didn't even have to use any effort, just hit the trigger and it broke all 20 bolts loose without breaking a sweat. Very impressed with the quality of this. It's built in Taiwan and not China. Fwiw, the Taiwanese tools always seem to be of greater quality than the Chinese stuff. Pros: Great quality and powerful. Cons: LED light is laughable, but so are most on battery powered tools regardless of price or brands. Wishes: Battery charge indicator would be great! I'm a heavy equipment tech so I'll be using this professionally.

Yes the battery sticks but there's a VERY easy fix
I discovered, as other reviewers warned, that the battery goes in so tight that it cannot be removed by hand. But if you like the ratchet otherwise, there's an easy fix -- just grab a pair of pliers with a wide mouth and squeeze gently on the two depression areas and the battery will slide right out (see pix). Easy peasy. WHAT THIS RATCHET IS: a lightweight, relatively inexpensive cordless ratchet. I bought it because I wanted something that would be handy to grab and use to quickly remove bolts I've broken loose or install them lightly so I can then wrench-tighten them to proper torque. It's a little rattly so I'm not sure how durable it will be, hence only four stars. But so far so good. If I find it holds up well over time, I'll update my review to five stars. WHAT THIS RATCHET IS NOT: a heavy-duty wrench that will break loose tightly torqued bolts (tested it on my motor, couldn't budge 'em). If you want a monster, you'll need to spend more money, but you'll also be stuck wielding something that weighs 3 pounds or more and requires more clearance. I wanted something that was lightweight, easy to handle and could fit into tight spaces. I've tried heavier-duty ratchets and found them too large for the nooks and crannies I need to slip a socket into.

Quality
I’ve been using the ACDelco 1/4-inch ratchet in a professional shop setting for almost 3 years, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to tools for tight clearances and dashboard work. The build quality is impressive — solid metal construction with smooth gear action that doesn’t feel cheap like some off-brand ratchets. The ratcheting mechanism is tight with little to no back drag, which is great when working with low torque fasteners where feel is everything. The fine-tooth design gives me great control in tight spaces, and the head size is compact enough to get into areas larger ratchets struggle with. I use this mostly for interior panels, light engine bay work, and small fasteners where a 3/8 is overkill. The handle is comfortable even after extended use, and it pairs well with both sockets and adapters. Whether you’re a professional tech or a DIYer, this ratchet is well worth adding to your toolbox — especially if you’re already a fan of ACDelco quality. I’d definitely buy it again.

Worth the money
Great price and works good. Use every day

Not a brushless motor, not particularly very compact, only one battery... but the price and performance of this ratchet, is still well worth it. If you are looking for a good tool at a great price, you won't find a better deal.
