OEM ballast is like $300 USD, this was way cheaper. Couldnt tell much difference even in the case vs OEM, very similar externally, works fine. Perfect fit for 2003 Mini Cooper S with Xenon headlights. Will order another, so both will be new.

My auto electrician was quoted $1500 each for units sourced from BMW to replace the ballasts for my 22 year old BMW 330ci sports convertible. So in buying two of these units at $50 each, I have saved nearly $3000. The fitting of the ballasts was less than $400, so I would recommend these units. Just make sure that you buy the correct parts for your car. Double check the part number when you buy.
