CamelBak Chute Mag BPA Free Water Bottle with Tritan Renew - Magnetic Cap Stows While Drinking, 25oz, Charcoal

I was looking to replace a five-year old 20 oz water bottle with a flip cap that had served me well, but the cap seal had worn and would open unexpectedly when on its side, creating a mess. My needs required a durable 20-25oz bottle with a screw cap, but no straw, as I prefer a more generous flow when working out. I also use my water bottle to mix and consume pre workout drink and don’t want the hassle of keeping a straw clean. In all my research, this Camelback bottle with the magnetic cap seemed the most promising so I ordered a charcoal 20 and 25 oz size to evaluate. While the 25 oz bottle was a bit larger than the 20 oz bottle I had before, I preferred it over the 20 oz Camelback, which seemed a little top heavy with the durable cap. So I returned the 20 oz bottle and have been using the 25 oz. Camelback for over two weeks now, and I love it. It’s the perfect water bottle for my needs, and the magnetic cap is great to insure that it isn’t falling back into your face when drinking the contents. I also like how the threads of the cap are internal and not on the exposed surface of the drinking port. This was an ingenious idea. If you’re working out and don’t want to screw the lid completed down, the magnetic cap will stay in place once returned to the port, not providing a waterproof seal, but keeping out any airborne debri and essentially making it spill proof if knocked over. One thing I do recommend before using this water bottle is adding a tablespoon of baking soda to the bottle filled with warm water and letting it sit for 30 minutes or so. This will neutralize any plastic taste to the water. A concern I had before purchasing this 25 oz water bottle was if it would fit my vehicle’s cup holder as the smaller 20 oz bottle did, and yes, it fits fine. In conclusion, I find the 25oz Camelback Chute Mag water bottle to be the perfect canteen for the gym or general purposes. I love it so much I ordered a second one in case they discontinued production of this model if mine ever dies or I leave it somewhere. I still prefer to refill regular 20 oz Aquafina water bottles when hiking for a lighter, more compact option for my day pack, but this is the only instance that I would not use the 25 oz. Chute Mag.

I really like this bottle. The magnetic cap is very handy. If you have the bottle in the cup holder of your car, you can close the top and the magnets keep it in place without having to screw the lid down. This makes it really easy just to flip the cap open & drink without having to unscrew it. But when you do screw it down, it makes the bottle waterproof and it won't spill. I also like the way the magnets keep the lid open & off to the side while drinking; very handy. I prefer this type of water bottle with the small drinking spout and find that the price & features of this bottle are excellent. I would definitely buy another one if I lost this one.

I have several of these that I bought from REI and this one. The cap is secure and easy to use.

What I like: • Lightweight • No leaks (as long as you screw everything down securely) • Carry handle • Perfect size • Cap held in open position with magnets to keep from touching your face when drinking. • No chemical or odors from manufacturing process. What isn't as great: • Need two hands to unscrew cap • The cap locking/screw operation creates tension that makes taking the cap off awkward sometimes (doesn't feel smooth). • Would be nice if sides of the bottle had indentions for gripping like the Yeti Yonder. • I wish the knurling on the cap extended down to the bottom, not just at the top. But to be clear, none of the negatives are deal breakers at all. Just a few minor improvements could make this an even better product. Overall, it's a solid water bottle. If you don't want a clunky and heavier stainless steel bottle, then this is a great choice. Another option I originally was considering was the Yeti Yonder 25oz water bottle with the tether cap, but the price was higher (and never goes on sale from what I can tell), so I chose this one.

El plástico es muy resistente. No se derrama al tenerla en la mochila. Pequeña y delgada para transportar, con el inconveniente que se necesita un cepillo para lavarla por dentro. Fácil para tomar el agua desde la boquilla. No tiene aislamiento al frío o calor. El detalle de la tapa magnética es insignificante, no se cierra sola y hay que enroscarla.

I love my 25oz camelbak chute water bottle. The wide opening let's you drink a lot without having to squeeze a straw. The lid closes partially with a magnetic hold, then you twist it to secure it from leaks. So if you'll be drinking some more, you can flip the lid to keep things out, then secure it once youre ready to move. The handle is a big rectangular space on the lid. It's perfect for a wide variety of different carabiner sizes. I love that the camelbak bottles are dishwasafe. I strongly recommend it.

Best water bottle for kids and teens. I ordered a few to keep around the house too. No leaks and cleans in the dishwasher. Love them

Camelback é referência mundial em equipamentos de hidratação! Qualidade acima das outras em todos os quesitos! Não é por acaso que equipa as forças armadas dos Estados Unidos. Essa é 2 vez que compro esse modelo... Tamanho perfeito para levar no carro, no escritório, na academia. Uso somente para água. É fácil de higienizar (apenas água e detergente neutro)! A tampa deve ser higienizada com uma 🪥, pois tem partes que não limpam somente com água. Pretendo adquirir a de metal para sucos e chás. Comprei na promoção (R$59,90!) Fico acompanhando os preços durante a madrugada... Compensa muito! A única observação é para a embalagem de transporte: nunca vem na caixa. Sempre em embalagens plástico bolha. Meu maior medo é chegar danificadas, pois os entregadores costumam jogam de qualquer jeito durante a entrega. Dessa vez estava em casa e recebi em mãos. Na entraga das garrafas de minhas filhas a câmera registrou o entregador jogando o pacote de qualquer jeito. Por sorte, não danificou! No geral, recomendo a marca!

Love this CamelBak Chute Mag! The magnetic cap is super convenient, it doesn’t leak, and it’s the perfect size for work or the gym. Feels sturdy, easy to clean, and no weird plastic taste. Simple, sleek, and does the job well. Highly recommend!
