I have purchased 3 sets of these earphones over the course of several months and have been consistently satisfied with their performance and comfort. I use them with my laptop for Zoom meetings and for my Samsung Galaxy S8 for Zoom meetings and telephone calls. The sound quality on both ends (for my ears and for the ears of the person on the other end of the phone call or Zoom chat) is consistently very good. The ear pieces are comfortable, too. The units say "Samsung" on them; I suspect that Samsung does not actually make them, but they still work fine. I have not used the controls for mute and volume; I typically control mute and volume from my laptop or smartphone. The shipping time to New Jersey was consistent, too -- slow. Each time, it took 3-4 weeks to arrive, so order them as a back-up before you are desperate for a set. I ordered each separately; the first two sets were shipped from the UK, and the third set might have come from China (I assume that they all were manufactured in China).

Not suitable as a mic, not at all; and for the price of a $tenner, it's acceptable for super basic audio (probably not even good for music). Also, I know it says "Original OEM" but I HIGHLY doubt it.

I really like these earbuds for my Galaxy S7 edge. The ones that came with it were not cushioned, although alot of people like those. I don't though. I love these with cushion because my husband snores and I fall asleep watching shows on my phone so I don't hear him with these. They are very comfortable. I like that they don't tangle easily and I like the texture of their coating. The volume and mic work great with my phone. I've had this pair for a week, they're still working great so I ordered 2 more pair. The newer Samsung ones I used to use always went out in 1 ear. I went through lots of those. Started using Frogz I think and they'd last only awhile before 1 side went out.So I guess all earbuds do that. Also the cord was too stiff on the Frogz, and I could hear rustling alot. I like that these do not do that. So I'm really happy with these. Mine sound great, the volume control works, and to me they are very comfortable. It took a bit to get mine, but the seller said that in description. I noticed, they had to come across the pond with royal mail so that's why. They came packaged nicely, and I really like them. I own an original, genuine Samsung headphone like this for many years now, and it is of a much better quality, both in terms of material and looks. And to make things worse, it doesn't work properly - the two times I tried to use it, in different calls, I had to remove it because the people on the other side said it was making a annoying sound, and they were not listening to my voice consistently. How come I cannot return it? My money in the trash can?! Very upsetting!

I would generally go through a pair once every couple of months, and over time they got less and less reliable. I would buy them 3 at a time and they went from all working fine, to only 1 out of 3. Sound would be wonky, the jack wouldnt work right, or they would break within mere days instead of months. Buyer beware.

I bought this in order to get an additional headset for my Samsung Galaxy S3 for later use or replacement. This one is the same model that came originally with the phone. The only difference is, this one does not bring the soft-gel in-ear cushions that came with the phone's hands-free. Because I've already have some of them unused, this is not a deal breaker for me. The Only downside I've found is that the speakers are a little bit yellow colored, like when you left something to much time at sun exposure or outside and the colors downgrade naturally. It is not too noticeable, buy a closer look can tell the difference between the cable(original white) and the speakers(not so white). I don't know if this issue is present only on my headset or in the others available from Amazon. In terms of performance this headset works flawless, the keys are a little bit softer to push than the set that came with my phone. The sound is great, you can feel very deep bass and high notes at same time with maximum clarity. I guess the auto-equalization from the stock music app on the phone could help to get this quality; but overall this earphones works great under any circumstance. Finally, in case you don't know, the Mic part comes with 3 buttons, one for Play/Stop/Skip(push twice)/Answer/Hang up, and the other two for turn up/down the volume.

ever since i was a child, these were the only shape of earbuds I've been able to comfortably wear for long periods of time. I've purchased these multiple times over the last like 6 or 7 years, even after the phones got rid of the headphone jack (i use the connector cord thing). and i only repurchased bc i lost the old ones, they didn't break. i can't say anything about the phone reception/quality though, bc I've hardly spoken on the phone with these
