Excellent, long wearing flat resistant tires. They are the best bike tires I've ever owned. After thousands of miles on these, both on and off pavement, I've had no punctures. That's a testament to their durability.

Yes they are heavy but once you get going they roll really well. Not noisy on the pavement at all and have enough grip for loose dirt on trails. Got 2 flats in 3 days with a different brand of tires but so far these are great.

Got these tires to replace the OEM stock fat frank street tires on our Pedego Boomerang. Absolutely thrilled with the improvement in handling when riding the bike on non paved surfaces. The tread design of this tire doesn't give up any smoothness when riding on paved surfaces but there is no comparison of the improvement when riding on gravel or sand. The Fat franks would slide everywhere when riding on sand or loose gravel and made the bike handling and stability very treacherous. The marathon plus MTB tread provides good stability and handling on every surface we have tried so far which includes concrete, asphalt, brick, sand, gravel, and grass.

Love these tires, they never fail me on my commute! After many flats with long walks or runs to get to my destination on time, it is so satisfying to smash goat heads on these with no regard! They are a bit heavier, but it is a welcome tradeoff for the peace of mind.

If you ride your bike more than just a casual spin around the neighborhood, then it's worth spending the money on good tires. These Marathon Plus HS 468s are an excellent choice for the bike you're going to ride both on road and off. They aren't noisy like super knobby tires, and provide relatively low rolling resistance for such a large tire, but give you some bite if you're riding dirt or sand. At 26 x 2.25 they are fatter than you might find recommended for "gravel riding" but I personally believe that, if your bike can handle such large tires, you should go with these instead for the 45 mm you may see recommended if you are riding a lot of gravel. (Would apply to the more mountain bike style bikes rather than more road style bikes.)

Replaced rear tire after 2000 miles. This looks like a sturdy tire with gravel/road tread design.

I ordered these April 2021 for my wheelchair. I have no complaints at all. Now that the tread is worn down though they are beginning to squeak on solid floors. I guess it's time to order again. :)UPDATE: finally purchased again as needed. Same great tire as before ^_^
